We got this for a lamp cable our bengal kitten took an interest too. It was easy to cut to length and attach to the cable, we got quite a few uses out of the 10ft cord since (including Christmas light cables) it's surprisingly large enough to fit a few cables into it too. Been the best investment and will be buying more in the future.

I needed to protect the cable for my laptop power, as the kittens have written off one charger at great cost to me, but no detriment to themselves! As the charger is mostly in our lounge, I wanted something unobtrusive. This product is clear and flexible. I found it very easy to fit, and cut to length. The only problem is that it needs something to fix it at either end, or the cable just comes out, then feeds itself out up the length. Tape or a cable tie is no good as that would prevent me removing the cable guard to pack the charger into a bag, so I am going to try to adapt a velcro tie designed for use in the garden around plants. My husband's reaction to the cable guard was that it is just a piece of plastic tubing cut along the length, and it was very expensive for that - yes it is, but it is convenient and protecting my cable!!

Used this to stop cat chewing on wires - I think for this price you should have a lot more length as if trying to cat proof home, you can imagine there are a few wires and can become very costly

My rabbit immediately had a go at chewing this but lost interest when he realised it was too thick. Has saved many wires.

The word pet in the product seems clearly added to its price. Just a piece of plastic tub cut down the middle. When you place it over cables you are still left with a gap. When I looked more carefully I realised you can buy products that do the job equally well, if not better, at a fraction of the cost but they don't all mention the word pet.

The product does what it says it will do, in that it gives added protection to your electrical wiring from being chewed through. However, it won’t prevent aggressive or determined chewers as it’s still only a plastic sheath tube, and there’s a disclaimer as much on the packaging. It might deter your pets, but I’d still advise you to keep an eye on them. The product is very expensive for what it is, basically a length of clear tubing very similar to an airline pipe you’d get in a fish tank, but with a slit along the whole length to push your wire through. As I say, it does what it says it will do, but if you had the will I’m sure you could make something very similar for a whole lot less money.

It came quickly, the cover is easy to put on.. but hold so strong smell.. that acctually hard stay in tge room.. otherwise as discribed.

Funciona bien para proteger los cables de los dientes de nuestras mascotas, al menos con mi gata ha funcionado ya que desde que lo puse no le interesa mordisquearlos. Lo malo es que añade bastante peso a los cables y si es un cable largo hace que el enchufe donde está conectado el aparato (ordenador, tele, etc) ceda un poco hacia abajo.

This is great! Accomodates even thicker cords. Not overtly visible while other protectors are colored and noticeable. Keeps the cords protected. Saves time and hassle if you have pets that like to chew.
