Decent mid teir cpu cooler
It's kept my i5-11400f at 65 degrees C while going under maximum load at 108w and even when the fan is at its peak rpm at 1550rpm it's decently quite the only thing that you can really hear is the air flowing through the cooler. But however performance aside the looks of the cooler are quite nice plus no damage was received during shipping, mounting the cooler was quite simple but the only thing wrong with the mounting was the bag labeling for lga 1200 because it only said lga 1700 not lga 1200 but however it still fitted quite nicely and I had no further issues. Great price and overall decent product, thermaltake is a company that you can really trust.

Does the job nicely
On Saturday I had a bit of a panic. My desktop PC running an AMD Ryzen 5600X with stock cooler suddenly starting turning itself off with "CPU overheating" errors. Checking the temperature, it was running at 64C idling on the BIOS screen. This shot up to over 90C when trying to do a little bit of video manipulation.I gave the innards a good clean and reseated the cooler and nothing changed. I wasn't in the market for a fancy cooler (neither the funds or the time) so did a little research, saw this was recommended a few times, and took the plunge. It arrived Sunday, I replaced the stock cooler in about 15 minutes. Nice, easy installation.Turned the PC on, its now idling at 31C. This increases to 57C while video processing. This cooler is an absolute bargain for under £15. This hasn't been tested on particularly strenuous loads, but for my purposes, its perfect.

Replaced my liquid cooler that stopped working
Installed the Thermalright Assassin X 120R SE on my Ryzen 9, and it’s proven to be an excellent CPU cooler for the price, with a few minor considerations.Starting with the performance, it does an impressive job of maintaining low CPU temperatures, even under heavy loads. The cooler is built with four heat pipes and a 120mm PWM fan that efficiently dissipates heat, keeping my processor cool. In regular tasks, it remains almost silent, and under load, the noise levels are still minimal, which is a plus for anyone who values a quiet setup. The installation process is straightforward, but the cooler is somewhat large, so check your case dimensions carefully. It fits fine in my ATX case, but it might be a tighter squeeze in smaller cases. The build quality feels sturdy, especially for an air cooler in this price range, and it provides reliable performance that’s competitive with more expensive options. One potential downside is that the fan might not handle extreme overclocking as well as high-end coolers or liquid options. Additionally, the Assassin X 120R SE doesn’t come with RGB, which might be a drawback for those looking to match a themed setup.Overall, the Thermalright Assassin X 120R SE is a great choice for users seeking solid cooling performance at a reasonable price, especially for mid-range builds and moderate overclocking. It's a dependable, budget-friendly alternative to more premium air coolers on the market.

Really good budget fan.
This is a fantastic little CPU cooler, it's easy to fit, comes with all the mounting hardware for different builds, includes high quality thermal paste, looks good and is nice and quiet! Most importantly it keeps the PC nice and cool and works just as well as coolers two or three times the price! Would definitely recommend!

A Fantastic Upgrade for My Gaming Setup
This cooler is an excellent choice for keeping my CPU temps low during intense gaming sessions. It’s quiet, efficient, and looks great in the all-white setup. Definitely an upgrade over my previous cooler.

One of the best air coolers out there
This cooler is fantastic for the price, and will fit in most cases as long as it isn't a SFF (Small Form Factor) PC like a lot of OEMs use.At less than £20 it is very cheap, and will knock intel stock coolers out of the park with AMD wraith coolers fairing a little better, but with idle temperatures on a i5 12400F less than 30C it will only struggle when i5 13600Ks/ Ryzen 7800X3Ds are introduced (which at that point buy the dual tower version of this cooler or an AIO.) Assembly was easy as well, as for myself I didn't even look at the instructions as everything is labeled very well, and for novice users a quick YT tutorial will be plenty to get it installed.I honestly can't think of any negatives, for those wanting a step up from stock coolers on a budget this cooler will happily do all budget to lower mid range CPUs without thermal throttling at all.
