Work very well.

I got this for an internal wood door which opens inwards, right hand hinges. Most latches have the ability to change the latch direction. This one does not. Had to return it.

Our bedroom door latch has died after 100 years of being used. This one sounded as though it would fit and if not, the door thickness was enough to use a chisel to put that right. I noticed there are 3 versions PB/PC/Bathroom I believe these stand for polished brass, polished Chrome and Bathroom has a latch mechanism instead of a lock Ours was supposed to be the polished brass but the only brass in the one that came are the actual latch tongues(don't know what to call them but see photo to clarify), the plates that are visible once its installed were silver coloured. It came with two keys. You get 4 fixing screws. The lock action is smooth , not clunky. My big son installed it without mishap though he did have to use his chisels. You don't get a handle or the shaft that goes through it.

Great value and does the job.

Not happy with the purchase, no screw to fit. Also ordered golden colour and received silver.

East to fit replacement lock. Just a bit of simple carpentry to get it to sit correctly in the previous locks recess, but other than that, fit straight in with little fuss.

Have tried to reverse the latch of this item and failed. Can anyone assist with this?

Great lock more then worth the money have bought two of them so far
