Great idea...could be better
Needs to be tighter. Pulling straight out on the magsaver to disconnect from your MacBook causes the product to slide down the cord. This creates even more tension on the already delicate wire! Also, this product is cheaply made. The plastic structures that hold the silver pegs in place started to bend when I tried to get a better fit. The device was unable to save my half-broken adapter (through no fault of its own)....That blame goes to Apple. However, I don't think this product will survive a third installation on the new adapter I will have to reluctantly purchase. Try again!

The description is very misleading there are two different H-type cords
Your magsafe adapter may look the same as the one pictured, but it is not. Check the fine print on the cord's transformer. The square attachment in the middle of your charger cord has printing on it listing the cord's specifics.If it says "Magsafe 2" it will not fit your cord.The latest magsafe H adaptors are a micro-millimeter larger than this device. It appears that this device was made for older computers.I do not know why the seller is lacking in that information. The seller should have specified that it will not fit all the magsafe H cords. Because most people do not realize there is two different one's that look exactly the same. Except one is a micro millimeter larger. That makes the seller lack full disclosure, and credibility in my opinion.Do not buy this product if you have a computer that is newer than 2012.

not a one size fits all
did not fit the 3rd party magsafe plug we used and that plug melted. not sure if this had anything to do with the overheating but the protector did melt a little bit.

offers magsafe protection but pricey
i like that my charger stands out amongst other users but at the price its being sold for I could have honestly done without it, but I like being different so I bought this, I believe it does protect the magsafe end over time but taking good care of your adapter would have done the same. cool look, peace of mind I say go and get 1

Does NOT Fit the Old T-Connector
I made it work though and it works flawlessly.I would recommend this to any one who is as sick of buying those GD chargers as I am!

Too bulky of a fix.
Does the job but makes the power cord stiff and bluky at the tip. I used shrink tubing and kept the flexibility of the cord.

Perfect with a bit of work
I have nothing to say other than THANK YOUUs Mac users love our macs, but most of us hate the power cable. The original was horrifying and died relatively quickly, but I even find the new ones to be horrible. Thanks to the MagSafe Power Adaptor, my original 3T chord is better than anything. Much better than the new chords. You do have to use a tiny screwdriver to fit it, but once fit, fabulous. Can this company work magic on the new chords???? Perfect price, perfect product. Thanks

Does not work for 2012 MacBook Air MagSafe
Looked like it would fit my MagSafe from the pictures on the site, once I received the item, my MagSafe is way too big for this. Not sure which MagSafe this is meant for.Also, the item's not silver (as depicted on here), it's a white, putty color in case you may be one of those people who want your Apple products to be all matchy-matchy and silver colored, (I'm not).
