Modern Forms: A Subjective Atlas of 20th Century Architecture Hardcover – Illustrated, 25 Feb. 2016

I love this beautifully produced book but equally it is a very sad book! Why do I say this? Well it is a collection of superbly crafted photos of modern architecture, mainly in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the USA, each building a work of art in it's own right but many terribly abused by a society which appears to have rejected Modernism. There are numerous abandoned buildings, weeds, rubble, graffiti ☹️ For a lover of Modernism this book is a must but be prepared to shed a tear over its betrayal

I purchased this book thinking it would cover the UK Brutalist architecture, but it mainly covers Eastern Europe.
