Quality HEPA filter, limited availability, price "iffy"
If your Germ Guardian Air Purifier uses this O type/size filter, then you probably like what it does for you. What you may not like is the price once you discover than it is available directly from Germ Guardian for less than $50 USD. Current scarcity of this product may be related to Los Angeles wildfires in progress. I bought the replacement for this (needed every six months) from Walmart because it was the only one available and it was the last one that Walmart had. Once the wildfire season has ceased, if availability doesn't improve then I'll look for a different brand air purifier that has a long term record of filter availability. It seems silly and wasteful to have to replace the purifier because of filter being unavailable.

I mean, it works well.
These are on the pricey side, but I knew that when I bought my unit, so I silently agreed to that every few months for the life of my unit. It does extend their life to vacuum them now and then. The bottom line is that they work well, and they fit our units!

Too early to really tell and compare
We currently have Honeywell-300 Air Purifiers in our home and as a fluke, I decided to purchase the Germ Guardian. Not sure exactly how effective the "ultraviolent" light is in conjunction with the air purifier proper. The filter is without question 10 times more expensive to replace every 6 months than our Honeywell units. Nevertheless, I'm going to give it a year's experience before I feel I can give a really relevant evaluation on the unit.

Air purifier gives warning to change filter every 2 months
I have to admit that this filter works really well.Good:- Air is so fresh and I don't have to vacuum the house much.- Original part.Bad:- Very expensive.- The air purifier indicates a filter-change warning only after 2 months. It is not 6 months like the product claims. I cannot afford to change it every 2 months.Other reviews:- Hard to push it? No, it is not true. It is extremely easy to push in; make sure the top-down direction is correct.- Don't know how to tell the device that filter was replaced? Please use the top button to reset the filters.
