Overall, I like the concept of the story; however, it was a bit confusing at times (the timeline). I was able to get it, just took a minute...and I've talked to several people who all had the same experience. I think it's a great story, just not the best execution

Re-read the story in a physical book. I purchased this retailer version before I saw a notice from the publisher that we should only buy it after the release of the publisher version (I purchased it two months prior). People were saying on different platforms that they had received their retailer version with missing pages/chapters. Luckily mine was okay with nothing missing. With regards to the story, I loved how it ended. Just by how Ji Mingxuan treated Shen Mo at the beginning (or first half?) of the story, I didn't expect the story to end this way. It was surprising and I loved it. Another thing worth noting is that I actually found it better than the publisher's another book in terms of translation with less noticeable errors.
