Review: At first I was worried that this immersion blender was overkill in terms of RPMs and length and weight, but it turns out it's the same length of our cheaper Cuisinart. The three attachments that come with the kit are great as compared to the single non-removable blade on the Cuisinart my wife purchased several years ago ($39). My first batch of mayonnaise was perfect and much firmer and more fluffy; so simple it's a crime. I tried the whipping attachment for whipped cream and had little luck the first go around as I used a small glass bowl. Then, I used the small Bamix beaker for the whipped cream and, viola! Amazingly short time to whip. I also had a chance to use the multi-purpose blade to mix up sweet potatoes and orange sections and it did a significantly better job than the Cuisinart - no large undetected chunks! I can't wait to use this on other soups we make. I will say that the small attachments are eye candy for our 2-yr old and we lost the whisk attachment in less than a week! Review: Pricey but worth every penny. This Bamix was larger than my previous one but it was not the Pro. You can put in your soup pot the entire shaft length and puree quickly. I make the best cream soups but use it when making sauces. You can make chilled milk into whip cream, eggs and oil into mayonaise, smoothies. So versitile and space saving. I damaged the original in 1990 but killed it by dropping it (me bad)2005. Can't live without it. This is my second replacement because I wore out the pin that kept the attachments on AFTER 20 YEARS. That purchase came with accessories that included a grinder so I am still able to use it. The price had pretty much stayed the same. LOVE IT!

I was sad when I broke my old Braun immersion blender. My husband used the attachment pitcher for making smoothies. So I needed to replace quickly. This was comparable in price to the original Braun, and I took a chance on it due to good chowhound reviews in addition to amazon reviews. I like that it’s made in Switzerland and has a good guarantee. This does not have all the attachments the Braun did, but so far we haven’t needed them. This thing is a beast and is chopping up the frozen smoothie ingredients as advertised, and is easy to clean. I went with the longer wand, but now that I see and appreciate the housing and build quality, I could have gone w the shorter stick. If you want to save a few bucks and some storage, do it. You can immerse nearly as deep as the 2 power buttons, so the short one actually offers good all around versatility.

Great mixer, we use it every day to make smoothies. Don’t be disappointed when the lovey white housing discolours from tumeric. Plenty of power But disappointing the blend head does not detach, but not a deal breaker, I would still recommend to buy

I use this for bulletproof coffee. I has a special blade for liquids. Hot liquids. No plastic in your drink. No worries about you blender falling apart due to sudden high temperatures. Lots of power for every use. Good pulsing action at both speeds. easy to handle. Solid and highly recommended.
