A band of hi-tech thieves have stolen a top-secret computer chip, and placed it inside a toy car. However, through a series of mishaps the car finds its way to Alex Pruitt (Alex D. Linz), who is alone at home with the chicken pox. The thieves track Alex down, but their attempts to retrieve the chip are all thwarted by the young whiz-kid. I remember watching this as a young child and just simply enjoying the slapstick jokes and the cleverness of one little kid. It's such an enjoyable film for all ages and the 'pranks' are really clever. Forget that it's a Home Alone film and forget about Macaulay Culkin and it really is a superb film, family fun for all! great movie!
I would just like to say before I review the movie, that the movie does not need macaulay culkin to be great. I remember watching this as a young child and just simply enjoying the slapstick jokes and the cleverness of one little kid. It's such an enjoyable film for all ages and the 'pranks' are really clever. Forget that it's a Home Alone film and forget about Macaulay Culkin and it really is a superb film, family fun for all!

Home for the holidays
Kevin McCallister is back, but with a new name, Byron Murfoyd. Curiously, the parents still have the McCallister name, but this is never explained. This time, Kevin (Byron) gets left home alone when his parents take a weekend break to Peru. The parents deliberately leave him, though this time, feeling he can manage himself quite well. Kevin has become a lot more unstable and cruel. So, rather than setting traps, he invites visitors in, takes them down to the basement and locks them in. Meanwhile, he jumps up and down on his parents' bed, singing along to Moon River. It is a solid sequel.

Brilliant film extremely funny throughout not original cast but way better than number four keeps my younger son 4 watching and I have nearly warnthe dvd out addtohome alone zet but avoid number four great plot and fun for all the family
