I thoroughly recommend fitting one of these derailleurs
Previously I had 2 XT derailleurs of the other make both of the same model. The first broke after 9 months (after applying clutch). The second lasted 4 months before wrapping up around the Cassette (again after using the clutch). So I decided to change to the SRAM. Well worth it! The change is smoother and there is clearly more tolerance in the mechanism. I thoroughly recommend fitting one of these derailleurs.

Was apprehensive on ordering this after reading bad reviews. I usually go for X9 or XO
Was apprehensive on ordering this after reading bad reviews. I usually go for X9 or XO.....but finding long cage 10 speed 2.1 SRAM derailleurs or reasonable price is getting harder & harder, so I pulled the trigger on this.It actually turned out well. Fitting and setting up went without issue.....no stripped screws. Shifting is spot on.Early days yet, but will report back if it fails within the next year.

Too value
Works well once fitted. Shifting gears smoothly. Can’t fault it and great value.

Poor
Not happy, B screw adjustment does not line up properly with the stop plate, looks like the plate is bent from the factory........ Nearly bloody killed my self at Hamsterly forest on a blue trail warmup as the derailer collapsed into the rear cassette.I want a replacement

LOOKS NICE utter poo AND EVERY SWEAR WORD ANYONE CAN THINK OF
bought 2 off...........COST 65 looked really substantial, if you do low milage then it should last a year, mine lasted 3 MONTHS,THE PINS MIGRATED THROUGH THE ALLOY LIKE RUNNING A KNIFE THROUGH A BLOCK OF CHEESE.MY X9 UNITS LASTED 18 M0NTHS AT DOUBLE THE WEELY MILAGE... which means these would have been dead in under 2 months and sram will only replace like for like which means a pile of .... for a pile of .....when they released this unit the claims were ,better shifting, better reliability ectnow if you doubt this my 3rd unit( warranty replacement) is 1 month in and wearing at the same.this means the deralliurs will cost between 22 and 33 a month. ANGRY DOESNT EVEN COVER IT
