Original Louisiana Hot Sauce 175ml

This is my first venture into hot sauce territory and the first thing I noticed was the smell,It is very acidic and very vinegary, to the point where it was off putting,It was like opening a bottle of malt vinegar and sniffing it.The taste was as you'd expect very tangy to the point where it was almost annihilating the taste from the pepper that it’s made from but having said that what I did taste of the pepper was wonderful.One thing you should know is this sauce comes out like water, its very loose, Heinz Tomato sauce is thicker than this sauce.The all-important part the burn, the burn to me was noticeable but tame, to the point where I put a bit of this hot sauce on a chip and a drop of Daddies brown sauce on another and tasted the two of them and Daddies brown sauce at least for me when I eat too much will cause my eyes to water and my nose to run, and my lips to tingle.To my shock (I will add that I used the brown sauce AFTER the hot sauce) the Daddies brown sauce cause much more of a response about 400-500% more and I don't expect the sister to Tomato sauce to cause a bigger reaction than something ladled "hot sauce".

I always wanted to try Louisiana and I wasn't disappointed when I got round to it. Very tasty sauce. I would describe it as similar to tabasco but more flavoursome, I now put it in all my meals (except my morning cereal)!! 10/10

Simple sauce much better out there. Good quantity for the price. Will stick to other brands in future. No depth of flavour.

Had this sauce in a restaurant, was pleased to see it on Amazon. Great taste, just the right amount of chili (for me)

This is the best hot sauce . Most are just heat but this also has flavour . Will it again .

I love this stuff!! I'm an American who once spent 5 years in Baton Rouge Louisiana where I learned to enjoy Cajun dining. I am now living in the UK and this hot sauce is a "taste of home" for me. It's flavor is every bit as good as that of Tobasco but without the strong level of heat.
