It holds my tea good
This was the only cup holder that looked like it would fit the flat arms on my powerchair. Luckily, it works really well. Very sturdy, easy to fit, does what it’s meant to do. Top marks.

One of the only cup holders that works well for powerchairs!
This cup holder costs a little more than some, however it's perfect for what I need..... I have an electric wheelchair that doesn't have the "tubing" that most manual chairs have. Most cup holders are actually designed for pushchairs but work well on wheelchairs as they have similar tubing. However for a lot of powerchairs, there is no tubing to fix these to - so they are pretty useless. This straps securely with velcro staps to the armrest. As my armrest is pretty flat - this works perfectly. It's exactly the correct width and I fixed it on in around 10 mins. Once attached it's pretty firmly fixed - doesnt move or wobble and means I dont have to hold my drink which is great if I happen to be eating too!! I did not have any instructions with mine - so was unsure about the pads it came with - but I put one pad under the holder in the middle of where the straps were going as this meant it would not rattle and would hold it still. The two thinner stick on pads I put underneath where the straps were going to again hold them more tightly in place. Not sure if that was correct but it's worked and its pretty strong. I don't really mind that this cost more than some others - when you put into perspective that the others just wont work for me. This does. Ultimately around £20 to be able to have my drink held..... isn't a bad price to pay. It DOES feel a little flimsy before attaching - but that's just becuase it is not overly bulky which is a good thing. Now its attached it doesnt feel weak and I am confident (unless I mistreat it), it will last me a long time.

Works for me, but it is called Nearly Universal for a reason!
I have a Harrier + electric wheelchair and this cup fits both the classic Harrier+ arms and the new general fit arms they're putting on them because Harrier + arms are no longer made. You just have to adjust the velcro tightly on the slightly wider general fit arm. I've been using mine for over a year now, I think, and I can fit most of my mugs in it, travel mugs and pint glasses in it. It can also hold most brands of bottle water, 500ml, (the 330ml bottles and cans can rattle around and splash a bit) and it's perfect for holding your phone when using google maps for directions. However, the "nearly" comes into play in my manual wheelchair, which it does not fit. I have circular and padded armrests on my Greencare manual wheelchair, and the holder is just not designed for circular armrests. It needs flat shelf armrests to fit and to be sturdy. Which I think is why a lot of people were tripped up by this. But it is called Nearly universal for a reason, and I think that's the reason! But I am very happy with this product and I'm glad my friend recommended to me!

An effective solution when all others have failed!
With an electric powerchair (Quickie Q50R Carbon) I've struggled to find a cup holder to fit the frame. However, this fit really well and is incredibly sturdy once secure. I didn't exactly follow the instructions as to ensure there was no velcro or plastic securings on the top I secured it from underneath but it works really well. It is much better as cup holder than bottle holder (as the bottom is too narrow) but that's exactly what I wanted it for! :)

Nearly but no
This got 3 stars, because it fits my powerchair, which is more than any I've tried previously, but it's come off a couple of times when I couldn't work out why, so I wouldn't actually trust it holding a drink. These things always appear rather flimsy for a purpose of holding weight

A vital piece of kit for electric wheelchairs
This is my second Nearly Universal Cup Holder - my first was accidentally left on my old wheelchair when it went to the great scrapheap in the sky. That first one lasted nearly a decade, so as well as being nearly universal it was also nearly indestructible! I often couldn't manage without it, as so few cupholders for wheelchairs are designed for powerchairs which don't have the tubular frame that manual chairs do. I recommend this to every other wheelchair user I know!

Why can’t people make
Clearly my electric wheelchair was in the nearly category. Instructions clear and followed yet this thing was just swinging in the wind. Was not secure at all, held my coffee but I had concerns. Really flimsy I thought as I turned my chair and caught it on my desk and I was going really slow and one of the bottom sections cracked and fell off. So in the bin it went. Maybe I should stop looking for cup holders and find things to hold the other stuff on my chair and I can hold the cup in my hand.

Fantastic
I have an airfold power chair and this fits very well on the arm. It’s very sturdy and holds most drinks/cups. I’ve used it for over a year now and I’m very pleased with it :)

Do quattro stelle perché l'articolo non è universale Mi spiego meglio non si può applicare in tutte le sedie a rotelle però con una piccolissima modifica ho avuto ugualmente la possibilità di poter sfruttare questo articolo. Molto comodo
