very nice. Too affix it behind the TV I had ...
Brought 2 of these a few weeks ago and now feel I can give my overall opinion on them.I have used one for my 32" LG TV and another I have affixed behind my computers desk. With both choices I had no issues with sticking the strips onto the surfaces, I did however make sure i wiped the surfaces down prior to sticking them too it , also of note the package includes a full length strip of extra double sided tape if it looses its stick or you want to move it, very nice.Too affix it behind the TV I had to cut the strip by about 30cm to prevent overhang, the strip has markings on it to show you where its safe to cut it.Once fitted it was just a simple process of plugging the USB into a port on the TV, or into the keyboard for my computer desk. The TV one will power on/off in conjunction with the TV.The computer one however is always on but this can be overcome by either unplugging the USB from my keyboard or the way I do it by just holding down the middle button on its little controller for 2-3 seconds.Onto the controller, this a is nice little addition which allows you to scroll through the many lighting modes such as static/pulsing/spectrum/rave etc. Along with scrolling through its many colours of choice, which there is a large amount of so shouldn't prove to difficult to find one you like most. I have stuck with a static green for my computer set up, the TV I change now and then depending on what the daughter thinks looks pretty at the time.As for the LED's themselves they are very vibrant and VERY bright, on certain colours if you look directly at the strip it can cause the burn in image on your eyes like looking at the sun! So when mounting them i'd recommend try to mount them so you don't have to directly see them. Also of note, depending on the wall colour the light is bouncing of it'll be brighter or darker. (the walls mine are being used near are painted in a satin malt chocolate so its about a mid tone)Now onto its actual benefits, As I spend a great deal of time on my computer doing computer graphic artwork, playing games and browsing the web. I have considerably noticed a reduction on tiredness and eye strain when using the light, even during daytime of when we have the main rooms light on.For the TV is much the same and just overall makes it a more relaxing and enjoyable experience along with looking great, on top of that the one behind the TV is very handy for when I need to dig around the back of it to unplug and plug certain things into it, leaving both of my hands free instead of trying to manipulate a torch behind it.There is however a few things i'd like to see changed with the lighting strips.First is the controller which is attached directly to the strip, as the strip will of course be stuck behind something, when you need to press the buttons you tend to just put your hand around there and feel around for it and hope you press the right thing.I feel it could be greatly improved by having the controller further away from the strip on a flexible wire allowing you to mount just the controller somewhere a little more easier to use or just dangling behind the TV to be picked up when required.Second is the package and the included instructions both mention an included USB wall plug which was not included in either of the ones i received. This wasn't an issue for me as I was plugging them directly into powered devices but it's something to be aware of if you have limited USB sockets or your TV simply doesn't have any.So overall i'm very pleased with these light strips, so much so i'm considering buying some more and toying around with other applications. One i'm very keen on trying is lighting within my computer case, as these are considerably cheaper than some alternatives and seemingly of a very high quality I think they would do very well for it.Along with that i'm tempted to use them as book shelf lighting and entertainment console lighting. These ideas however will have to wait until i afford to buy a few more to experiment with, for now i'm very happy with the two I have.

Value for money
The LED Strip Lights with Remote is an excellent addition for enhancing your home entertainment setup. At 2 meters (6.6 feet), it's perfectly sized for TVs ranging from 40 to 60 inches, providing a vibrant backlight that elevates your viewing experience. The RGB color options allow you to customize the ambiance according to your mood or the content you’re watching. The included remote makes it easy to change colors and lighting modes without hassle. USB-powered, these lights are simple to install and can be conveniently plugged into your TV or a USB adapter. The adhesive backing ensures a secure attachment to various surfaces, while the flexibility of the strip allows for easy placement around edges. Overall, these LED strip lights are a fantastic way to add personality and flair to any room, making them a great choice for bedrooms, home theaters, or gaming setups.

Bargain, would buy it again.
I was looking at the Phillips hue light strip, which is obviously a lot cleverer than this, but figured that, actually, I'd only really want it white when watching the tv. Then I saw the Vansky product for under ten pounds, so I thought, why not.So far, I'm very impressed. It has a self adhesive backing, which has worked very well, and comes with a spare 3M double sided strip in case it comes off /you want to move it.There is an off switch in the wire, and the unit is powered by a usb connector. This is just plugged into a spare USB port on our tv, so it comes on when the tv is on, and goes off with the tv too.The light is a very cool white (ie slightly bluish), but looks nice, and does help to relieve eye strain when watching in low light. If you don't have a (spare) usb socket on your tv, or you plan to use it as a stand alone light strip, you'll need a USB power socket, as it didn't come with one, although for the price, that's fair enough.Hassle free, cheap and effective. Gets a thumbs up from me.

Great product, take your time with the installation
Great product BUT very poor instructions. Being from an engineering background I was able to work out what to do to fit the unit properly. If it helps anyone, gently roll out the LED tape on a flat surface first. Clean the area behind the screen where you wish the LED tape to go. Check first that the LED tape connection will still be able to plug into the USB socket before you stick it down. Offer up the LED tape on the outside of the screen first to get an idea of how far to the left or right the LED tape position will need to go first then mark the areas with a bit of post it note. Then use the roll of double sided adhesive backing tape supplied peeling of one side first then attach it to the rear of the screen and rub it with a paper towel to make sure the air bubbles have gone. Then remove the other layer of the double sided tape which will accept the light tape. Peel of the protective layer of the LED tape and now stick it very carefully to the double sided tape you have fitted to the screen. The tape is the same length and width as the LED tape so be careful when applying it as you will not able to remove the tape easily if you make a mistake. Now rub the applied LED tape gently with a cloth to make sure it is sticking to the backing tape properly. Now plug in the USB plug into the socket and off you go. Please Note: On my screen which is a Samsung a warning came up on the screen about a "USB overload", it then said "correcting device voltage", then the warning disappeared and all was well. I had to fit mine on the wall in situ, but if you are lucky enough to be able to remove the screen easily if it is wall mounted or if it is mounted on a table top stand, then the installation for you will be so much easier. A great product just a little fiddly to install.

Pratica, d'effetto e rilassante
