Outstanding security and a battery that truly lasts!
The Arlo Pro XL Security Camera exceeded all my expectations. The 2K HDR video quality is outstanding, capturing every detail with impressive clarity, even at night. The long-lasting removable battery is a huge upgrade — it genuinely lasts much longer than previous models. The AI Event Captions work flawlessly, identifying events clearly and accurately. Setup is easy, completely wireless, and the camera integrates seamlessly into my security system. The Secure Plan trial was also a great bonus for exploring all the premium features. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real security, convenience, and advanced technology. An excellent product!

UPDATE! Does not work with VERIZON!! star pertains to Amazon, not Arlo.
UPDATE!! I was having trouble with device using up our mobile hot spot data. Unfortunately it didn't warrant a complaint to Verizon until after the return window closed. Verizon then informed me that this model GO 2 being sold by Amazon is not compatible for Verizon. It is specifically for AT&T, Teleguard or US Cellular! The only way it will work with Verizon (SIM) is as a jet pack type hot spot device. Contacted Amazon support to make complaint about listing for the product not disclosing this (as of today 6-10-24). Agent offered me a full refund. Very nice, thank you Amazon! Noooope. When refund /return was processed I was only getting a partial refund $53 less than what I paid! This BS is totally on Amazon for deceitful marketing and subsequently defrauding the consumer that later discovers the problem. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA FROM AMAZON IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO USE IT THROUGH VERIZON!!! I have run the original Arlo GO camera's for 6 years and have been pleased with them. One of the three finally crapped out after extreme duty (no complaints!). I bought this new model GO 2 and am very impressed with it. The ability to use either WiFi or LTE is and excellent upgrade. Motion detection range really surpasses my expectation. I will definitely add another GO 2 as my old ones wear out. These camera's are used outdoors, unprotected from the elements which range from summer high temps averaging 100f and winter rains, snow and low temps that have reached -3f. If you use these camera's, it definitely is a plus to add the solar charge panel with them!

BARN & TRACTOR SURVEILLANCE
Metal barn - no WiFi - needed something to watch over my tractor and livestock. not installed yet but it was ez to set up and add to my ARLO PRO 2's and now I'm adding some NEW ARLO PRO 5s into my ARLO system as well. All will be up and recording in a week or so as I need help screwing them into position. Even though the PRO GO 2 primarily operates with a slim card, it can also operate using Wi-fi when Wi-Fi is available. All cameras report back to my Arlo app for recording any movement. Be it people, vehicles or critters. You decide what it watches for in the upgraded app. THE PRO GO 2 CAMERA ALSO HAS A BUILT-IN FLOODLIGHT and the XL battery. I bought the solar panel that I'll try but not a lot of sun in Washington so no sure on that one but I do have a plug in in less than 20 ft. So I can recharge that way. and I did buy the cord since I can also use it to recharge my NEW ADD-IN Pro 5s cameras. New magnetic recharge cord makes it ez to recharge cameras. Just get it close and it grabs on its own. Based on my family's past several year history with Arlo security cameras, I'm excited to have these upgraded cameras available to add into my Pro 2 camera system. The peace of mind these cameras give me is unmeasurable. Better than a 9mm by a long shot. No pun intended. By the way, I tested the siren and it is so high pitched and loud I think my neighbors on the next farm heard me testing. Check into the Arlo monitoring Service too, as you could possibly receive a discount on your homeowners or farm insurance policy. Of course I recommend the ARLO GO 2 withXL batteriesband may purchase another for my baby barn after the first of the year. No WiFi in that barn either.

Arlo LTE Cameras: Great Features, Broken Core Functionality
I really wanted to like this. After a several of attempts to get it to function on WiFi, it FINALLY connected to a wifi network. It does well at this point. Battery charge lasts a long while and the Arlo solar panel is actually pretty good and more than enough power capacity to keep this unit charged. Quality of video is very good and its motion tracking is also very good. What is terrible about this unit is its LTE functionality. I've spent an entire afternoon with Arlo customer support trying to get it to even connect to a LTE network and it never worked. I bought 10 cameras at onces, all LTE. Not a single one connected to the LTE network. Complete waste of my time and money. Returning them all.

Aggravating but…
I almost returned this thing, but I needed something ASAP and didn’t have time to research another type. It is kinda frustrating to get set up if you’re using it for LTE. Verizon no longer does SIM cards in store and there’s not a T-Mobile near me. Luckily AT&T had my back and hooked me up with a sim and a plan in less than 10 minutes. I could write about my frustrations with this thing all day long, but after setting it up I’m fairly happy with it. Here’s the pros and cons. PROS: -LTE capability (obviously) -Great video quality & features -Convenient app that’s fairly easy to navigate -Notifications that you can adjust -The actual setup of the camera is fairly easy and quick ONCE you get a SIM card and get the thing charged up CONS: -A pain in the @$$ to get an LTE plan for it with a sim. -Requires a SIM card, and a plan through a phone carrier. This would be better if offered directly through Arlo. -DOES NOT COME WITH A CHARGING BLOCK and your regular charging block will NOT charge it. Good luck. I paid $50 for a block that would actually charge it, and it’s USB A which is becoming hard to find. -It came to me on 0% so I had to go buy a block to charge it before I could even attempt to set it up Overall, I kinda like the thing once I got a plan for it and got it set up. The picture is live on a rainy day in the horse pasture. I’m glad I can monitor my mare who is about to have a baby, and I’m happy I’ll have something to put in stalls at big shows now.

Great LTE Camera: Does Work With AT&T
I bought this camera to put outside my vacant rental property during rehab. I took the camera to AT&T and got a sim card which they inserted for me. I also bought a separate SD card for storage. The SD card you have to format with the app before it starts storing. This camera has been great thus far at capturing activity outside my home. The battery lasts a long time. I like all the customization options and the free 90 day trial with ARLO. Since I recently started using the camera I will update the review if anything changes over time. I suggest you go in store and ask for a SIM card for the camera. Bring the camera with you so they can see it and help you set it up. If they claim they don't offer it, go to another store!

Arlo Go 2 has More options / versatility than the first edition (Arlo Go)
I added some pics - to show the Support Plans through Arlo. The Arlo Go 2 is the largest camera in the Arlo family. In comparison to the first edition (Arlo Go) things I like are : ***** Better video quality (day and night) ** Can still be grainy quality at times (time of day, lighting, storms) *** Option to Record until activity stops (up to 300 seconds). This is works 1/2 the time correctly. Motion must need to be relatively close within 20 ft to record activity). Otherwise I see it record in 15 second increments. *** you can opt to still record for a determined length of time 10s to 120s. Did I say video quality is BETTER? Yes, way better than the ARLO GO. Ha, the first edition looks real bad now! You really have to pay for Support - in order to Get Support from Arlo. I found out the hard way with my Arlo Go. Basically ARLO stopped supporting Arlo Go, once they came out with the Arlo Go 2. Expect that to happen, with any future newer releases from this company. Maybe if you just keep paying for the monthly support - they will keep the camera working for you. I am still struggling to get any support for my Arlo Go. I am going to add their plan to that camera - and see if they will now 'talk to me' about the first edition, that has become less than reliable - especially if I need to change the battery, or move the camera. OVERALL : I am pleased with the ARLO GO 2. It does not miss many motion detections in area of focus, verse other brands set up in the same area, that do fail to pick up motion.

Abonnement obligatoire
N’achetez jamais cette caméra. J’y ai introduit une carte mémoire et même avec cette carte, je ne peux plus voir les mouvements enregistrés après la période gratuite qui dise. Je regrette mon achat et elle est cher.

Expensive before the forced monthly cost. Motion sensing range is not great
Bought this to stick on a pole 20ft up with a solar panel for good reception and wide view to find it doesn't detect motion properly that far away. Set at the highest sensitivity it missed tractor trailers moving around in a parking lot that a normal camera would have easily seen. Disappointed. Will likely return. Seems it only checks in every so often and goes Into a dormant sleep mode otherwise. Requesting a live feed of the camera then results in a spinning circle forever. Can't adjust settings like this either. Picture quality is nothing special either.
