Ivanhoe 24V 5A Battery Charger For Mobility Scooter Or Electric Wheelchair

I bought this charger because I was going on holiday and wanted one to carry in my hand luggage when flying. It is small and very, very light so it was perfect. What was an added bonus is that it charged the wheelchair in half the time that the big, bulky charger supplied with chair did. Having used it for the past week every day with total satisfaction I now intend using it all the time because I won't have to leave it on overnight very often because the charge will be complete before going to bed. The charge indicator is simply- red light to indicate it is charging changes to green when complete. Simple! The price is the best I could find anywhere so all in all I cannot fault the whole transaction. Highly recommended.

This charger is a good 'set and forget' charger. I use it for my Pride Colt mobility scooter which I use a lot & has two x 12v 50Ah AGM batteries. The old charger developed a fault, I rang around for prices for a replacement but they all quoted 'silly money' (well over £100).I find this charger considerably faster than the old charger (which was also 5A). It is also much less cumbersome.Just plug the 3 pin 'Din' plug into the scooter's charger port, plug the mains plug into the wall and it begins charging. A red light and some noise from the fan tell you that it's charging, although the fan is quite quiet. Once the batteries are charged it stops automatically; the red light changes to green & the fan stops. At this stage it is keeping your battery charged but it will not over charge the battery. So you can plug it in and forget about it. I'm using it on France mains electricity (230V).Great, fast, easy to use 'deep cycle' charger. Incredible VFM / for the price!

My old one was broken by an airport when coming back from holiday. Need a good quaility charger fast. Not disappointed. Its very powerful and quick at charging much better than the one that was broken

Good Service as does what it says on the advert - would recommend this to any one needing a new charger - but make sure you are ordering the correct one for your make of scooter.
