Would it be possible to add a shoulder strap because I've read that it doesn't have one?

Thanks for your question. Because this specific product is designed for kids, the binoculars come with a very basic neck strap. Unfortunately, the design is not easily modified. Instead, we suggest you explore the Amazon Carson Store page by clicking the "Visit the Carson Store" link located just under the title of the product. Select the first category “Binoculars” to browse our full line.

Are batteries included?

The Carson CP-11 X-Scope for kids features a microscope, torch, and telescope along with a digital clock. The item is battery powered by 3 LR-44 batteries, which are included in the package and can be replaced when required.

Can we replace the light? It is not working any more after 2 years even with new batteries. My little son is very dissapointed and crying.

Hello, we are very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, our warranty only covers the US; however, one of our main goals is to provide the best possible customer experience, which is why we want to send you a new version of the product. Please reach out to our customer service info@carson.com or +1 (631) 963 5000, saying that we answered your Amazon question about the CP-11 X-scope and told you to contact us. A member of our team will take your contact details to coordinate delivery.

What age are these suitable for?

My grandchildren are 4 and 7 and they are perfect and should do them for a few years
