Effective collar
The products behind the neck have not been effective after 3 months of use. Within 2 days using the flea comb, I have noticed, that now nearly no fleas near the neck, and most are dead or dying, the same in the torso, and just. a few pesky little buggers in the tail and belly area. I would recommend all 4 in the arsenal if you are serious about getting rid of fleas in 4 weeks from your house; drops, collar, comb and is your cat can handle it, the shampoo, which if you cats are scatching every 2-5 minutes, will get rid of the 500 plus fleas living on them. I've used the comb at length and can vouch, over 3 cats, the levels of fleas in your cat being up to 1000-2000 if infested and easily visible. Go strait for the shampoo. Your cats will over night be happier and more affectionate. The collar definitely works and I think that using the comb helps the chemicals propagate over the the whole cat. We have two sisters and one has been mor prone to scratching but had less fleas so there is no golden rule.Don't forget to vacuum, vacuum and use a stray on upholstery and carpet. All of them need 3 hours hous of ventilating with windows open after, and a mask when applying especially if you or family have breathing issues. Will be replacing this collar every month.3 months on with new collars every 4 weeks and drop treatment behind the neck the cats have been let back upstairs into the carpeted area of the house and we have not had flee bites on ourselves or our daughter. The cats still have a few fleas if you comb them but these are poisoned as they are collected from outside and I've not seen a flee once other than through combing in 6 weeks. The breeding cycle has been broken down and we no longer see any eggs.To give you some idea of the time scales using those two treatments in a 4 week cycle of replacement/application.Also note that if you remove the collar using what you think missing the right method, squeezing the black clip and pulling, it in fact breaks the security clip that protects the cat against betting caught and trapped in branches. So you may find the cat returning without a collar. If you need to take the collar off, use the buckle and unstrap that way. The black clip is a one time method on first fitting the collar.Vacuum ofter areas where the cats settle and use spray for upholstery and carpets once a month if you can. Finally we are going to spray the garden areas where they lie in the spring with a flee spray. But remember it's kills other insects too.We will carry on with the collars replacing monthly for the foreseeable future.

Need listing option to select colour on purchase
Can't say if it really works as my cat seems to still have fleas, but then again this is not a replacement for the actual vet flea treatment. Comfortable to wear (cat has not destroyed it so far and hes not bothered by it), just wish you had an option to select the colour as I thought I'd get a blue one as per presentation photo, and I received a pink one for my male cat... Looks pretty and it is reflective. The safety buckle works as intended.

DO NOT BUY. DOES NOT WORK.
These collars just aren’t worth the money at all. They’re supposed to be flea collars and they don’t do the specific thing they were built for. They look nice, that’s about it. Twice I’ve tricked myself into buying these as I was told that back in the day, Bob Martin was a reliable brand for tackling fleas but they simply do not work and the fleas aren’t bothered by them. Your much better off with the flea collars from Wilko, I’ve been using them now. They don’t look as good, but they actually work and are a couple of quid cheaper. I use both the collars now for prevention, and the flea tablets if there’s the start of an outbreak and they stop them dead in their tracks.

Nice looking but not effective
Good looking product. Easy to fit. Does NOT stop all fleas sadly.

Cheap and effective
Regularly buy these and they work well on my 2 indoor/outdoor cats so I just keep buying them. Cheap and effective, no issues.

Great product!
The media could not be loaded. Cats love it and have managed to keep them on for a few months! With the bell I can always hear of they are coming when I call them!

Not very ‘safe’
I bought this one as it features a “safety buckle”, my cat is always out and about in hedges etc and if he was to get caught up there is no way he would break free from this one, I had to pull quite hard to get the buckle to release. Shame as I really liked the look of the collar
