Penny Lane Smoke Buddy - Personal Air Filter/Purifier - Blue

After years of making my own filter using toilet roll tubes and bits of kitchen roll/toilet paper I decided to see what the professional option was like and I'm very impressed! It contains a carbon filter that completely removed the smell from any thing that passes through it, and also completely filters out any particulate matter meaning that nothing comes out the other side but clean air! And despite this powerful filtration there is barely any air resistance when you blow into it. Obviously any device like this can only get rid of the smell from what you blow into it, so bear that in mind. It's not going to magically remove smoke that's already in the air. But if you want something to stop smoke and vapour being exhaled into your room and causing it to smell - this is the perfect device! 10/10!!! The only improvement that could be made is if they made the filters replaceable.

Was a bit sceptical but honestly is a very good purchase. Only downside is it not having replaceable filters.

Lasted 3 days before resistance made it impossible to use. Not recommended for vape use.

Is smoke suppose to come out the top when you exhale into it? Doesn't do the job it's suppose to do...unless I've gotten a faulty one. Am sending it back cause £24 is a lot of money for a faulty item.

The smoke buddy does remove smoke smell when blown into it but because the mouth piece is quite large you put your lips inside the device which makes your lips and mouth smell of smoke. It needs the mouth part to be smaller.

Will be away from home soon staying in a room with a fire alarm, after setting them off before vaping I needed a small travel sized device to absorb clouds. I was worried it would be an effort to blow through the smoke buddy but it didn't provide any resistance and it's comfortable to use. More importantly it absorbs every bit of cloud! Very impressed!! EDIT: Lasted 6 days of light evening use (and quickly became hard to blow through) before becoming clogged up. I left it to air dry every day. Eventually I could push through again and it now lets out vape cloud through the other side. If there were a way to open the device to dry / replace the filters I would give it a higher rating. Now it is a £23 paperweight. Very disappointed.

Edit: 3 years later and it's still going strong with consistent use! I've been using my smoke buddy for about 6 months and it's still working perfectly! I always take this with me when I travel so that I can smoke anywhere. I've smoked in the airport, at nonsmokers homes, in the bathroom at work, with no issues! I did read a comment before ordering mine about how you need to cap after use to provide longevity, DO NOT do this. Mine clogged up after the first couple of weeks and wouldn't work, after some research I got it fixed. Now I just leave it uncapped and I haven't had another issue. Would definitely recommend and will purchase again!

Works great, just make sure you let it air out upright overnight for the humidity build up.

I live with two other guys and one doesn't smoke. After these, there is no more lingering funk. The initial smoking will still leave a smell but it is 8x more potent than without. Our house smells great and its super convenient and you can breathe through it super easily.

i was expecting from other reviews that in being a “heavy smoker” this thing would only last me around a month. well the reviews are SO WRONG!!! i use this thing more than id like to admit and 2 months later its still working fantastically. it covers the smell & no smoke makes it through!! its better than anything else. my cats & boyfriend are so much happier!!
