Too Light
There is not enough heft and the vibration of hitting the coconut, therefore, transfer into the wrist hurting your arms. Almost a good design but just needed to be bigger and heftier. I would have paid more for a more massive coconut opener. I like tools but I like good, better tools more.

Useful tool
Useful tool. I find the piercing end very useful for opening the eye and draining the coconut water, but find it very difficult to get into and break the coconut apart, and need to use a hammer combined with the other end of this tool in order to break through the hard outer shell. Once that's done, it's fairly easy to break it in half. I'm glad I bought this as I do like my fresh coconut.

A great idea but a bit flimsy for the money
A great idea but a bit flimsy for the money. If you don't get the ends matched up they tend to cross over and being plastic means it doesn't feel solid or that it will last, it's a bit annoying, but once you get used to it, it does the job

Perfect for cracking coconuts
Good weight perfect for what it has been designed to do

... while you might not get two equal halves with nice straight lines it does work
I've used this a few times now and while you might not get two equal halves with nice straight lines it does work. The pointy bit gets the holes out nicely so you can use the milk inside and then some brute force will get your coconut in two halves. You do have to hit it hard though!

Good product. I recommend
This enables me to cut the dried nut in half. Took a couple tries to get the hang of it. Good product. I recommend

it's okay
At first I was well-please but then found it was easier to use a small, sharp knife - taking care of the stalk and plug in one go

Good idea
A good idea, sort of works altough I still had to drop the coconut from a height onto the patio floor to open it completely.
