These CamelBak for kids are a godsend! We are an incredibly active family, and while on hikes or bike rides, my kids want to have access to *easy* water. Forget water bottles - they wanted what daddy had! I purchased 2 and they fit both my 7 year old (who is the size of a 4 year old) and my 11 year old! They comfortably sit on their backs and they don’t cause any rubbing at all. They don’t weigh a ton, and are easy for my kids to carry on their own. The color is to die for - it’s perfect for gender neutral! The bag also opens up and can store some snacks (and let’s be honest - a pop it or three), along with the bladder of water. We have adult Camelbaks, so we knew we could trust the brand. I ended up getting them on sale for about 50% off, and it was worth EVERY penny! I’d definitely recommend grabbing one of these for your active kiddo! They will stop stealing our water and have their own! :)

Perfect size for a tween mountain biker. Holds enough water. Doesn’t leak. Just enough room for a light layer and tools.

Our daughter is in a mountain biking class and this has allowed her to stay on the trails during class to hydrate rather than leave class to get water, be thirsty on a trail ride or just complain about being thirsty! She is 5 and this fits her well! Even our three year old son loves to wear it every now and then and surprisingly it fits him decently! Good quality and size for a kid

Pack is a good size for our 4 year old. Camelbak brand is notorious for leak issues and this isn’t any better. The screw cap is difficult to close correctly and even harder to get the air out of it. The tubing was leaking as well so had to cut off the bottom inch of tubing and reconnect. Like osprey system better

We are a family of hikers, but my grandson used to be a little bit whiny about carrying his own water bottle. I got this for him for Christmas and it ended up being one of his favorite gifts. He enjoys being able to drink water whenever he wants, and loves that it’s a back pack so his hands are free. It is a quality product that insulates the water to keep it cold and performs well for him on hikes. He says there is no weird taste at all, and I am pleased with the excellent value for the money it provided.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We don’t do a lot of hiking and I don’t have much experience to compare this to. I chose this one because my son loved the flame on it. It works perfect and he loved wearing it, being able to be hands free and stay hydrated. No complaints of weight or discomfort. It was the perfect size for our hikes with room to add a few small snacks and toys. Seems durable easy to fill. Relatively easy to clean. Is there a quick way to dry these out?? I’ll need to google bc I was nervous about it getting moldy while in our suitcase traveling home. Child in photo is 54”, size 8.

These are fantastic. I’m always hunting the grandkids down to make sure they are drinking enough. We live in the desert southwest and hydration is extra important. They also love going on hikes or exploring. These hold enough water to keep the kids well hydrated. There are pockets that hold any treasures they find. The straps are very comfortable and the safety whistle is a brilliant addition. The colors are very bright and they look as good as they work. No more lost cups and bottles. No more buying reusable bottles for them to lose and no more buying single use bottles that get thrown away. We don’t have recycling anywhere near me. One of the pockets has a clip inside and there are both zippered pockets and open adjustable pockets. These are perfect for camping, hiking, fishing, or whatever adventure your kids can dream up. Definitely worth every penny.

My son is 4, 43 inches tall at 45lbs. This pack is a great fit for him. He brings it to his hour long biking classes and wears it the whole time. I don’t fill the water bladder all the way up to keep weight down. The small pockets are great for holding his gloves and small snacks. A very “packable” jacket may fit in the pack but definitely not a standard jacket; don’t plan on packing extra clothes in this beyond a pair of socks. This pack has a chest strap, an added waist strap would be nice but it’s pretty stable without it. If you want your little ripper to have easy access to water and to help carry his very basic necessities this will do it.
