Perfect fit charges nicely
I got this to replace my Psvr charger and was impressed how well it fitted and powered my psvr. The cable was a nice length and never overheated. Very happy with this.

Power supply supplies power - shocker! Well no electric shock, but you get what I mean. ;)
Rather cheekily I didn't get this PSU to charge a VR unit, but instead to charge a mesh hub that I'd somehow lost the charger for. I checked and it had that right voltage and connector size so I took a flyer and ordered this power supply. It worked a treat and continues to work now.

Good 12V DC supply
Not just for Playstaions.I am using for my astro photography equipment and works great and at just over 4A has a lot of power available.Just a suggestion for all power supplies like this if you are getting on a bit in years and the eyes are failing like myself. I now have a lot of very similar power supplies ranging from 5V to 24V used on all sorts of gear, astronomy stuff, marine aquarium filters and pumps to name a few. And all use the same size 5.5mm barrel jack plug and you can see where I am going here (can't you) the consequences of using a 24V on a 12V appliance can be end of life stuff (for the appliance at least). So now I always colour code the cable near the 5.5mm barrel jack plug with coloured ty wraps and also add a sticky label to the power supply body with the voltage (and amperage) clearly written on the label. It may sound going overboard but after wiping out over £2K of astro gear one dark night I wish I had done this before.I did manage to get most of the gear repaired but still it cost me and the gear was out of action for months.

Does work but this is 4 amps not 3
The power supply does work as a replacement VR power supply, however the unit supplies 4amps an original PS VR power supply only supplies 3amps.For a power supply though it has lots of power for other electrical items / equipment.

Perfect for my needs
First thing to point out is that this is actually a 4 Amp supply, and not a 3 Amp as listed.I was looking for a 12 Volt DC power supply rated at 4 Amps and found this one. My aim was to re-purpose this for an LED lighting project I’m working on. Usually, these types of power supply are relatively large, but this one, being small and compact, is perfect for my application. While close to its maximum load, there was no noticeable hum or noise emanating from the supply, and the voltage remained within approximately 1 Volt of its stated voltage output. Since my project only requires approximately 75% of the power supplies maximum rating, this is more than adequate for my needs. As a 12 Volt 4 Amp DC power supply, I would highly recommend.

Ideal Replacement
This is a replacement for my Sony PSVR2 unit, and I have to say it fits perfect. As you can see from the images it is a slightly different size from the original. but don't let that fool you it fit perfectly into my head unit to power it on.the connection was perfect and wasn't loose in any way, giving a reassuring click once inserted.Amazingly I have tried this on a few devices and see if it works on them and I am glad to say it did, and with 4a 48w it has more than enough power to run most items. Therefore on that premise alone, if you need a power supply that's is more than likely a lot cheaper than your original you can't go far wrong with this. It's small, it feels well made and should last a while. Can Recommend this.
