LEKATO Percussion Sample Pad - Electric Drum Set with 9 Velocity-Sensitive Drum Pads, 600+ Sounds, MIDI Out, USB MIDI, AUX, Looper, Metronome, Trigger Inputs

I received one of these today and my initial impression is that I am very pleased with it. It works out of the box using my amp. I have yet to try it as a midi controller but I have an ewi and akai keyboard which both work well with my daw using windows. So to be open, I bought the device from lekato and they delivered it in a couple days from their Uk store. I previously tried some Bluetooth air drum sticks but was frustrated by the connectivity and to be honest the lack of feel. The lekato pd705 has plenty of on board sounds and functions as well as being a midi controller which will allow me to play drums and maybe double up as a controller for bass and voices. The alternatives are finger drums(!) or premium priced products or generics which look much the same. I have plenty of lekato products (loopers, wireless, pedal power supply etc) and they are always competitively priced and reliable. This looks like another winner. Addendum, I also got a kick drum pedal and a stand which fits perfectly. It seems rather odd to me that the default pad layout has the kick drum on the left and the high hat pads on the right. All the same, I put the pedal on the right and it works fine. i might need to re configure some of the pads but otherwise I am very pleased with the device along with the accessories.

Great sample pad BUT a swine to manage the samples using the software.l, hence only 4 stars.

Returned it as one of the pads had less sensitivity. It is for beginners. Delivery and package was seriously damaged.
