You will not need to buy rinse aid for a long time. This is concentrated, so save your old bottle of rinse aid to make it up in. It works perfectly well and makes the items shine.

This rinse aid has to be diluted with 900 parts water to one part concentate. Therefore the 5L container will be enough to make 4,500L of normal rinse aid. According to google normal usage is around 1L per year. Therefore, we now have enough rinse aid to last until the heat death of the Universe!!

I’ve been using the Jantex CF977 Rinse Aid in our commercial dishwasher for a few weeks now, and it’s definitely delivered on what it promises. The 5L size is fantastic value for money and lasts ages, which is perfect for busy kitchens. Since switching to this, I’ve noticed glasses and plates come out noticeably cleaner, drier and streak-free, with no water marks left behind. It works well even at lower temperatures, which has helped save a bit on energy costs too. The only slight downside is that it’s highly concentrated, so you need to adjust the dispenser carefully – I set it too high at first and found a few items had a slightly chemical residue. Once adjusted though, it’s worked perfectly. Also, the container is quite heavy once full, so it’s not the easiest to carry around. Overall, it’s a reliable, high-quality product that does the job brilliantly. Would definitely recommend, just make sure you calibrate your machine properly!

This product is fine, but a lot of reviews have misunderstood the instructions. When is says 1ml in 900 of water, the instructions are referring to the concentration in the actual dishwasher cycle, not the bottle you mix up to add to your machine. If you dilute it 1 in 900, and then add it too your dishwasher, it gets diluted AGAIN during the wash cycle. You need to look up how much water and rinse aid your machine uses to get this right. For our Bosch, diluting the rinse aid about 1 part in 4 works out about right. Still good value and equivalent to many many regular bottles, but not going to last a lifetime as other suggest.

Family of four here, with several dishwasher runs per day. The 5L bottle lasted for 18 months, making it 3p per day or 1p per run. I dread to think how much would it cost me to buy small bottles in the supermarket! The rinse works perfectly fine - I recommend keeping one small dispensing bottle, and fill it in using a funnel.

I did not have high expectations - but I will be buying this again (if I ever use it all up). I have quite high expectations when things like glass werar comes clean out of a dishwasher. This product has worked really well and for the price, lasts for ever. I am very pleased.
