- Kohden Japanese Star Anise offers a sweet and delicate perfume with a Star Anise note. This is renowned for its anise (aniseed) flavour/aroma - similar to both Fennel and Liquorice. Star Anise is obtained from the fleshy part of a fruit (Illicium Verum), native to the northeast of Vietnam and southwest China.
