Bought this for grass clippings. Had a barrel-shaped collapsible one and it was a pain. Then I thought wow, this would work great for leaves, too. Sure 'nuf, I tried it today by laying it on the ground and raking the leaves right in. One step and the leaves are in the bag.I'm ordering a second one, because as the bag starts to fill, the leaves start coming back out. So when it gets to that point, I can easily dump it into the second holder until that bag gets full. Sorry for the product though -- it thought it was going to get a vacation after mowing season was over. Nope, will be working overtime in the fall, too.LOVE IT!! BTW, be sure to tighten the screws, as it fell apart when I first used it for mowing. I just had to tighten them more, but not so much that it can't be dismantled, for its short vacation.. What I like most about it is the compression action that keeps the bag tight and releases the bag easily, too.

Worked great, got just in time to scalp the lawn, which required 18 large trash bags and made the job a lot easier. My product may have been a return or just badly packed, because the arms and thumb screws were all lose and not in there packages. But every thing connected and put together fine. Finish looks like chrome, no sharp edges on mine, some of the welds seam sloppy but it seams strong enough. Have to say using this is a night and day difference from using trash bags in an out side trash can, the bags I used held on without issue never falling off and trying to pull a full trash bag out of a trash can is a pain because of the suction.

We bought 2 of these for an outdoor wedding. Wedding isn’t for a few weeks. My son saw them and quickly put one to use when he mows the lawn. He loves it! Bagging the grass has never been easier.I only gave 4 stars because they are a little difficult to put together. Some legs screwed in easily, but others requires more muscle and even a grip cloth to get it tight. Same for the small screw included to keep the legs attached to the bottom. Very hard to screw with your fingers. I ended up using some small pliers.One of my boxes was damaged and partially open during shipping and pieces were missing upon delivery. Amazon easily exchanged the item for a new one.Overall, I’m very pleased and would buy this again and would recommend it to friends.

I got this for a birthday party knowing we’re going to host many more soon. It was well worth it! I love how wide it keeps the bag open…no accidentally missing the trash. It was easy to put together and can be disassembled if necessary quite easily as well. It’s nice and small when disassembled which makes it easy to store. We plan to keep ours up as a catch-all garage trash.

I want to like this bag holder, the idea and design is great for the purpose it is made for but the quality of this specific item is a major let down. It is mostly a bunch of metal poles secured together, seems simple enough. My first order came with several missing parts, all four side metal poles, which is to say... it was missing so many parts the box felt light. The second order came with everything but as it was assembled I noticed the edges were rather sharp and it seemed poorly soldered. The location where it is soldered on the base is also a section which would have a lot of tension from holding a bag open. I'm doubtful these few metal poles will last more than a few years since a stand like this is meant to be handled and moved around a lot.

If you work in the garden frequently enough, you get tired of the paper bags that get blown down when you are trying to fill them. Until you get a little weight to the paper bag, any wind will disrupt the positioning of that bag. So I went to Amazon to see if they had any better solutions. When I found this unit, I actually got excited about trying it out. Endless to say, using a plastic bag in the frame works so well. I don’t need any extra help as the frame keeps the bag wide open. In my county they will take the plastic bag and empty it, so I really am not required to use the paper bag. And this saves me some money as I can reuse the plastic bag. This comes in handy in multiple places like a workshop, basement, when renovating your home; like I said, multiple places. I really am very pleased with this discovery. When I first took the pieces out of the box (which was damaged) I was happy to find the individual pieces to be thicker than expected. But then - one pole was missing, when I tried to screw the available poles into the top holder two stayed loose and could not be tightened, another would not screw in. Ditto for attaching the poles to the base. The rust on the base is minor and would not have caused a negative review in itself. Since I did not open the box upon receiving it, I do not know if it can be returned.

This is a great frame to use inside and outside. It holds a Lawn & Leaf bag open and is very sturdy. When you first look at it you sort of think "will this work?" and I can attest that "YES!" it does. During the isolation I've been organizing and working around the house (inside and out). Space is very limited in my house so while I was looking to purchase a lawn & leaf trash can, I worried about where I would store it. With this frame, it folds up and can be put in the corner (or slid under my bed, which is where I store it). But to be frank, it spends more time collecting donations or trash than it does unused. Unless you loading it with tree logs are concrete bricks (which is not what you would use this for that purpose), you will not be disappointed.

I had to give this product a 1 star review. It should be a simple thread a rod into the bottom half and voila complete. (Which it is designed to be) but the lack of female threads on the mating part mixed with the poorly cut threads on the male end made this product useless and extremely poor quality. Would not recommend

The screws did not hold the bars in place and they keep popping out. Same thing on both units that I ordered
