iOn Audio Pathfinder 320 All Weather Bluetooth Speaker (Renewed), Black

Don't know why these are not available new. Bought 2 of them refurbished. The first one was flawless, the second one had a few scratches and some left over adhesive from a sticker on it. I am not sure if they were actually refurbished or just repacked in the original boxes. I am very happy with them. They are really loud. Have both by the pool and can here them over 600 feet away clearly at volume 28 out of 30. One would be more than enough in an enclosed space. The battery life is great. Played continuously over 7 hours at almost max volume and didn't die yet. Trick is keeping the slide cover open to cool the speaker. The cover has a usb charger inside to charge your phone while using the unit. I keep it open to radiate the heat out of it. They are hefty and weigh about 25 lbs but have wheels and a retractable handle which helps. The build quality is solid . Metal protection around the speakers and it truly does broadcast in 270 degree field. The mids are located on the sides and tweeters are located above the woofer in front. The mids are really high powered and broadcast real far. The bass does boom if you adjust the app or manually on the dial on its face. Each are adjustable on the app as well as the unit. The app controls volume also. Getting both to sync is sometimes alittle tricky. One is the master and the other is slaved. If you forget which one is master and try to connect your Bluetooth to the slave it won't work and you have to restart the sync process by shutting down and pressing the sync buttons on both units. The Bluetooth 5 range is incredible on each . I can broadcast from my phone to one of the units over 100 ft direct sight. When both are paired together they must be within 75 ft or so of each other or one will shut down because it won't hold the sync. The lights are off, on with rotating colors or beat with the music. Cant see the lights during the day but night they look cool. Bottle opener is nice too. If you want to remotely control the volume or adjust the output of each high, mid and low you need the app. Its easy yo use and no bloatware. Overall I will purchase again if one does happen to not work anymore, but I don't see that happening. You will be very pleased if you want a loud speaker that's clear and has long battery life. Get one!

I'd like to state up front that indeed it was scary to order a refurbished unit as there's understandable uncertainty about the condition until it arrives to your door. I was re-assured at least minimally with Amazons Return policy (in general) but also specifically for refurbished equipment. After reading some of the other reviews about this (and similar) models, that the main complaint was battery life long term. Once I did the math on the price difference between a refurbished vs new model I realized I could replace the battery several times over before arriving at the cost of a new model (which may well have similar long term issues). After doing the math and considering the return policy, I pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did. in my case, this speaker looked pretty much brand new, out of the box. This wasn't a big deal to me if there were some dings/scratches (so long as it worked) becuase I'd purchased this with the intent of taking it to Softball Games/Practices for the teams warm ups and walk up music. It needed to be loud and easy to use, but prettiness was way at the bottom of the list as I knew it would suffer some abuse with constantly loading / unloading with all the rest of our gear, plus dusty/dirty softball fields and rain. after a short season with it, it's a mess visually but is still working flawlessly. What I like: Weather Proof Dust/Dirt proof Loud Bass boost Battery life long enough for a double headers (at least 4 hours) - so far cord/phone storage was a nice touch as well for those of us who constantly lose cords. Thing that were Meh. The range of the blue tooth was just ok. on a softball field I'd need to leave my phone on the bench near the unit otherwise I'd lose connectivity from one side of the diamond to the other. This isn't really a complaint as any small bluetooth speaker is pretty much going to function that way. the sounds quality wouldn't be what I'd want to listen to music in my home as there are better speakers, but for outside / self contained and for the price it was just fine. I personally couldn't care less about the bottle opener either, nor have I had an opportunity to try it.

I was a little concerned in ordering this refurbished/renewed speaker but I am very pleased with my purchase. It came delivered in the original box, with the plastic cover still on the controls screen that protect it from fingerprints. Not a scuff or dent on the speaker - it was in perfect condition on the outside. When I turned it on, the bluetooth was easily connected and the sound was incredible. I needed a loud speaker for when I teach exercise classes in a gymnasium and this unit is definitely loud enough and crisp sounding. So my concerns were met with being very pleased with my purchase!

I was skeptical like everyone else who’s seeing the refurbished label and I will add I could have knocked it a star because there was actually some rolled up Amazon packaging somehow stuff in the speaker behind the grill from what looks like where they were testing it from a repair that they forgot about. That’s the best I can think of. I took the screen off with just 4 screws and pulled it out and everything was ok. Seems like a slight oversight in quality control, but otherwise these speakers are everything I could have asked for at a great price. Heavy, durable and an actual quality big sound with bass. I also left it on all night on accident and the battery hadn't even dropped a bar, which is awesome and lets you know these things are built like tanks. I bought two for UFC fights I was projecting onto a blowup screen outside and hearing the fight well makes such a difference. I'm pumped and will update after a fight to let you know pros and cons, but these should definitely do the job. 1 probably would have been able to get the job done honestly if you crank it up, but why not two, right? Excessive, perhaps. But ya gotta live a little sometimes. Enjoy and hope this helped.

The price! The power. The battery. The app! Ok it’s not perfect but there’s no single solution for portable music (or any system) that is. Forget Bose, JBL, and a slew of other contenders, this mighty five way speaker system CRANKS! And the 100h batter truly is no joke but caution, don’t let it go below two bars of risk battery damage (12v sealed lead acid like a car or wheelchair), but if you do, the battery is user replaceable and CHEAP! A new battery costs between $15-50 (Duracell battery at the top end). Connects to phone easily, charges relatively fast and lasts a week at loud volume and barely budges the battery meter (but keep it topped off after a few days of heavy use). The wheels, handle, top storage tray for the cord and other items, the rugged plastic housing, all make this speaker a no brainer to own- it’s not as cheap as some but if you like music LOUD and want a weather resistant speaker for almost any use, this is the one you should buy.

Those are some of the best speakers ever they're so high quality and Loud easy to operate and never glitch David connect with each other.

BIG sound. Can't beat the price.

Sure the speaker (new) probably is a good speaker but bought this in excellent condition renewed and my goodness is it horrible. Looks brand spanking new but once i paired to it, music sounds like dog water. Low volume, the speaker wont even play anything. Higher volume, all i hear is cackling. Thought it was just bluetooth issue so i wasted money on an aux cord that also did not fix the problem. Played around with the settings and to no avail. Bad.
