I don't notice this thing, which means it runs excellent!
Runs just fine powering my Home Assistant Yellow box. Connected it to my Zyxel PoE switch, HA box powered up and runs just fine. One of those things you don't notice it's there when it's going its job. Would happily buy again if I need something USB powered that doesn't take PoE.

The best tools are the ones you forget are there because they just keep on going. This is one of those tools.

Delivers Required Current for a RPi 4
Most POE splitters deliver 2.4 Amps or less which is under spec for a RPi 4. This lists the 3 Amps that a RPi 4 requires. I use this to power a RPi 4 running Home Assistant. I prefer a splitter over a POE hat bacause hats have fans which always make some noise. With this splitter I can use a FLIRC case which cools really well without a fan.

Does present more power
I got these because the other PoE Converters were limited to only 2.4 amps and I needed more for my Raspberry Pi 3+ with cameras attached. (I kept seeing a 'lightning bolt' in the upper right corner of the screen.) Once I switched to these, no more warnings! So far, so good.

Underperforms and disappoints
My ADS-B ground station is a Pi 3B with two SDRs connected via USB, it reads 4.65VDC under a load with drops to 4.30VDC. My Enterasys C5G124-48P2 PoE+ switch for inline power via CAT6, reports only 6.5W power consumption on the Ethernet port where the Pi is connected and this PoE splitter cannot even hold 5VDC.

Stupidly does not flash activity LED
The adapter has TWO LEDs like most Ethernet adapters, one (yellow) for Link, another (Green) for Activity. But guess what? They decided to only wire up the yellow one, so you can't tell if the adapter is working or not since there is no blinking Activity LED. Very, very, VERY, stupid!

Good POE for 5V supply
Reasonable price for a POE that supplies 5v for remote devices. I used to power a Raspberry Pi3B. So far seems stable. Recommend 👍👍

Bought to use with Raspberry Pi 3B+
Literally plug-n-play, these PoE adapters can power a Raspberry Pi 3B+ or 4B without any issues or warnings. The build quality is nice and it is less expensive and more convenient than the PoE HAT, leaving you to use the GPIO and plug sockets for other things! An Ethernet cable and PoE-compatible switch is obviously needed for this to operate. I would recommend this product and I am happy with the versatility it offers with both Micro-USB and USB-C. 5/5 *
