Doesn’t trap small mice
I bought this humane trap and set it up for mice. In the morning the trap was not sprung and they were mouse droppings inside the traps and no bait left. It might possibly work on larger rodents, but it did not work on the small deer mice that I was trying to capture.

As an experienced trapper of many types of critters, I’m confident theIs trap will work well.
The media could not be loaded. I like that this humane live catch trap can be used with the doors open on both ends, as well as a repeating trap with the doors closed. I would recommend setting the trap with the doors open and bait (a piece of Tootsie Roll candy, firm cheese, a nut or other solid bait) on the bait holder. Once the first critter tries to get the bait, both doors will slam shut, trapping him/her inside the trap. Additional critters can open the doors from the outside and get into the trap and the door will fall behind them, also trapping them inside. Sure there is a chance than when a critter is pushing the door open from the outside, than one of the critters inside can escape the trap, but one can only hope that he/she will go back inside to join the party inside the trap.I have had other live catch humans traps, but they were single catch traps, unless I was very lucky to catch two at once. This trap allows for repeated entry into the trap from the outside through the one way opening doors. I also like that there are two bait areas that are inaccessible to the critters. With other traps, once the bait is all eaten up, it no longer attracted the varmints. Since they can’t get to the bait in the little bait closets, it will continue to attract them.Once the weather is better I hope to get some footage of the trap in use.I hope the review was helpful.Thank you

Spring so sensitive it snaps by jarring the trap :-(
I liked the idea of a two-entranceway trap, but the spring or trigger mechanism is so sensitive that merely jarring the trap can snap the doors closed. It seemed like a better solution because rats had chewed through the wire traps, but won't do any good this way if they never get into it!

Not impressed
The trap is built great-it's solid, it comes fully assembled, I loved the idea of not killing the rodents(I got some mice in the shed, and I didn't wanna kill poor things). However, it's not easy to figure out how to set, and the trigger is awful-some time it snaps closed from the way you look at it, and some times my mice had a buffet time and walked away. Overall I didn't catch a single mouse. I do allow some room for operator user error here, as in theory the trap should have caught my mice, but bottom line-it didn't work for me.

Has absolutely not work as described
Has gone off only a few times And caught nothing at all. Most of the time Bait is taken and it has not closed. Tried repeatedly.Still out there... nothingMy other traps keep working. Super annoying!!!

Humane and easy to set
The trap is a live-capture, making it humane (as long as you have a place to release the critters). Teh critter can enter from either end to approach the bait in the middle. Once the critter wiggles the bait, both doors close. It is easy to set up, although if you jiggle the trap when setting, you have to reset it. The clear plastic wall allows you to easily check the trap and the handle on the top keeps you away from the critter. The trap is very light, so it sits easily on top of insulation and gives lots of choices for placement of the trap.

No good.
Don't waste your money we have set this for the last 5 night's and nothing. The bait is gone but the trap doesn't close.

Interesting concept but no luck so far (*also see update)
I live in Florida and we have bird feeders in the yard which also attract squirrels which I am okay with, but also rats which I am not. So a couple times a year a rat of two decides the yard might be a good place to live and I set out live traps, catch them, and humanely move them to a local wildlife sanctuary. I saw this product, watched their included video (which shows actual footage of rats using and being caught by this trap), thought it was an interesting variation on the traps I already had, and so ordered one of these traps to try it out. The pros are: it is good-sized and could potentially catch mutilple rodents, two of the bait sites are inaccessible and so continually attract but do not need to be rebaited each time, there are two doors which allows multiple entry paths, possibly promotes false sense of security, and allows possible futher entry and trapping without allowing trapped rodents easy escape. The more traditional live traps I have allow none of these options. The cons are: the main bait arm/trigger is very sensitive and harder to set as a result, and over the last 3 nights I have yet to catch anything in this trap while catching 3 rodents in my older more traditional live traps. Not saying this trap does not work (there are lots of factors that affect these things) but this has been my experience so far. I will continue to try to use this trap (along with my others) and will update if I start having better success with this trap. (*update-I have now caught 7 rats is other traps and none in this trap; it is significantly more difficult to set and has yet to work for me)
