hi i have recently bougjt the new 2ds xl woth pre installed mario kart7 im.just woundering if this will fit inside at all

I bought mine for my nephew who has a 3ds XL. The case is strong and sturdy, good quality and fits the 3ds xl console and lots of slots for games. If the 2ds XL is smaller than the 3ds then I would say yes it would fit but just check dimensions.

Would a nintendo dsi xl fit in this?

I bought this carry case for my nephew who had a 3DS XL and it was a good fit with lots of room to spare. Not sure of the size of a dsi XL but all the compatible models are shown in the description on the site.

Definitely not waterproof. I doubt there's any case made specifically for the 3DS XL that is.
