Great short stories. Perfect for 9 year old to read on their own or be read to.

I bought this for group intervention work with years 5 and 6. Yet again, Pie Corbett does not disappoint. These are great stories, plenty of ways to exploit them and with a cd too.

Purchsed this for my son who is an excellent reader but who gets bored with long winded books. Who can blame him at 9! This was perfect for him to read alone and enjoy.

Not as useful for teaching from as I thought it might be. The texts were longer than I expected which meant that it wasn't as good for dipping into as I had hoped. Also, doesn't really work alongside he new curriculum in terms of setting expectations. However,the stories are interesting and I was able to weave them through the curriculum in a different way.
