My first order was acutal mini chuckles which are great. last order were spiced gumdrops, which stink. are these actual mini chuckles again?

Back in April 2018, I had a bag that was mixed spice drops and Chuckles Minis. I just bought more bags and they were ALL SPICE DROPS. I wrote Ferrara candy and they basically blew me off with their complaint response form letter. I fear we will never see the traditional fruity Chuckles flavors in mini-form again. Ferrara has done everything wrong in this instance. This is NOT how you do business, and they've lost a loyal fan.

What are the ingredients? Are they vegan?

Look this is old school candy. They never changed the recipe. I worked in the old plant here before it moved. Look online. It's the same candy from my childhood and the same candy when I worked there I can tell you everything that goes into it and I don't remember any meat ingredients I remember sugar corn starch flower I don't remember any animal by-products when we were mixing it and making it there's dies and flavorings. It's been made the same way for over 100 years. It's just impossible to find anywhere around here. Kinda heartbreaking since all the years and time spent working on the plant making our town so prosperous.

How much does the recipe differ from the original recipe?

tasted the same to me although probably 5% smaller than in the 50's.

How many pieces come in a 10 oz bag of mini chuckles

There should be 70 pieces in every bag of 10 oz

They were fresh and fruity, just as I remembered them. If you like fruity gumdrops in multiple flavors, these are for you. They are soft and chewy and won't hurt your teeth. The perfect-sized gumdrop of good quality. I loved eating them again; it was like a trip down memory lane.
