Well made and elegantly designed. Clear instructions albeit some searching is needed to get it to work with Alexa. The remote works, but is a pain to program. - if you can be bothered!Fitting close to the ceiling is tricky: set it 5-10 mm below or it will not lock onto the brackets!Not sure why I had 3 brackets with a 1.07m blind; two as per the instructions perfectly adequate, and with one screw each!I would regard the supplied remote as an useful adjunct if the internet fails and as long as it performs the up and down functions, I would disregard it and reply on Smart Life and Alexa unless there were an internet outage! The remote is an irritating pain to program!I was surprised that the blind was supplied to me, in the UK, with a USA flat pin plug. I chopped the cable to fit a plug needed just a few inches (cms) away from the fitting, but was surprised to find US cable with black and white conductors! OK, I think Black is Live and White Neutral, but really there is a legal requirement for Brown Live and Blue Neutral and 3A fuse in this country!Short term I am rather pleased with the blind and the company who appear to have an articulate and refined interface with the West. Nice product, time will tell, but get the plug and cable right! Really!

The Customising section to choose the blind size etc is very good.The blind arrived much earlier than stated - only 4 working days by UPS.It's worth knowing that the even though I chose the Apple Matter version, it actually shows up as an Eve motor. Just make sure you choose the correct hardware version from the customiser. I had to scroll down to find the Apple HomeKit option.For anyone about to buy, be aware that the "App" they are saying to scan the blind's QR code into, should be the "Eve" app NOT Apple Home App.If you scan the QR code into the Eve app, it walks you through the setup process simply. Using just the Apple Home app, set up the blind incorrectly showing it open when closed and visa-versa. Plus you can't upgrade the firmware etc.If you are using Matter as the connection, you can upgrade the blinds firmware in the Eve app under Settings. Make sure you save a copy of the QR code when upgrading to Matter, as it uses a different one from the one on the Blind Pull string. The app lets you save the new QR code to email or a photo etc.Over all the setup process was quick once I knew to use the Eve app.Also be careful when cutting off the plastic bag from around the pull chain. There are what looks like two loose pieces of cord but they are actually the wireless antennas!Installing the brackets onto the window, was simple as a couple of screws and then just clipping the blind onto them. The blind unclips very easily too, with a push back and down motion.Overall I was very impressed with the whole process.I do believe they are a little expensive overall but would still recommend them.

I never leave reviews but can’t say how happy I am with the service and the product. I bought it for my mum who has MND and so we built her an ensuite bathroom but purposely didn’t put a door on the bathroom but this blind gives her an extra bit of privacy. It wasn’t due to arrive until late August but arrived yesterday. Fitted perfectly and works great. Thanks very much.

as puzzled by the Wifi aerials- a tidier version would improve appearance? Also an ability to adjust horizontal alignment after initial fixing would be helpful IMHO

I had bought a slightly smaller measurements, Graywind customer service offered to make a new one with right measurements and sent me for free. all I had to do was to change the engine which took less than 5mn.The quality is amazing too. Super easy to install and it works perfectly.So much worth the price and I strongly recommend them.

Easy to fit and excellent blackout blind

The media could not be loaded. I’ve begun buying these one at a time as I was a little sceptical, my scepticism has long gone, I’m now on my 5th.These blinds are built to a very high standard, the motor, case and the fabric itself is exceptional.The added bonus is the functionality, I simply say “Alexa, night night” and all 5 blinds close, I’ve even programmed them to close at midnight just in case I’m away. The second bonus is that I’ve now disposed of my alarm clock as my blinds open at 7am (I programmed that time) which means I now wake to daylight rather than a horrible noise.The customer service is exceptional, my home WiFi couldn’t hand the Alexa’s but the customer service team sent me the Zegibee set up and bingo, they work like a dream.If anyone reading this post wants to reach me for honest feedback then please feel free.Greywind, an exceptional product, please keep doing what you’re doing.Kind regards,Paul
