Good Product
Bought to replace a previous cover from this same company which had worn out after several years of use. Fitted easily and easy to use. Was very happy with the first one and confident that the replacement will be just as good.

Like a new ironing board!
New cover purchased to go over new felt pad. Usual brabantia quality. Great smooth ironing.

Superb fitting
A very smart looking cover for the Brabantia ironing board. Is full thickness and fits nice and tight. It is a two handed fit as needs to pulled to stretch the lining to achieve the good fit. Very smooth and garments slide nicely to enable good ironing. Highly recommended.

Satisfaction mixed and I had expected more from Brabantia.
The quality and pattern of the material were good as I had expected but my rating is due to the difficulty of fitting the cover on the ironing board without the help of another person. This is because the string that you pull to tighten and fit the cover is very thin and it not easy for one person to tighten it adequately and knot it securely. My previous covers had either thick cord or elastic around the edges and were simple to fit and tighten. I was disappointed as I not expected this thin cheap cord to be part of a Brrabantia item.

Works MUCH better with new felt under it too
Very good and very pleased with it. I always buy the same size and style and although my previous one wasn't THAT old, I had managed to puncture a hole in it which quickly became bigger, caught more and was more annoying with each use. This one was way easier to fit than the last one and I think it must be because, this time, I also replaced the felt underneath it and only then realised how thin my old one had become. I hadn't really being doing the previous cover justice really by putting a good cover on a crappy felt! It's made a huge difference this time. It fitted better, holds the heat better and yes, actually make the clothing easier to spin around the board into position and irons faster. Apart from the drawstring and tightening cleat around it (which I hate because I feel like I'm about to amputate my fingers when tightening that string and the cleat just ends up dangling loose anyway), it also had a single (ladies suspender) style fastener with it. But, in replacing the cover AND the felt, I'd pushed the boat out and treated myself (whoohoo!) to a pack of separate ironing cover fasteners and these are much easier to use because they're metal snap shut clips rather than the little round rubber ones you have to put under the material then squeeze into a metal hole clip and push down, for which you need 2 hands. This cover also seemed easier to fit and fitted better than previous ones. It was easy to just lay it out on top of the upright ironing board, with new felt in place and squeeze it between the end of the board and the metal shelf/plate at the end the iron sits on, before tightening it, tying a knot in the string and just tucking the excess underneath. I didn't use the cleat at all. Have been using it for the last 3 weeks now and noticed my carpet and feet are completely dry now too. Previously, I had a lot of condensation gathering on the underside cagey bit of the ironing board and huge droplets of water dripping from it. Especially noticeable when I took the board down and at that moment when it first collapses, a lot of drops would be pushed out at once. That's all gone now, probably mostly due to the thicker felt being underneath but also because the ironing is quicker due to the cover therefore not as much time for condensation to form. If you're experience the dripping problem like I did, I'd recommend not just this cover, but also replacing your felt underneath.

The item delivered was a thin material cover with no foam or padding. Very disappointing. The predict didn’t match the description.
