Perfect size chunks added great flavour
Good size chunks , long burn time , great quality and value for money . We also bought the Apple wood chunks which are equally as good .

Good sized chunks
Weber have a good reputation for consistent quality and this product doesn't deviate. These were nice, large chunks so they smoked well. The smell/taste was strong, but not overpowering. I've only used these with beef (short ribs, steak, brisket) and it imparts an almost bacon-like taste. These were £10 a bag when I got them, which I'd say was good value for money. There were a lot of chunks in the bag and I only use maybe three chunks per cook, so it's lasted a while.

Great quality wood chunks
This turned out to be a good buy, even if it's a little pricey for some wood chunks. Makes for beautiful smokey flavour. If you are looking to smoke some meat and want good, clean smoke... This is it. I'd buy it again.

Decent Weber hickory chunks for all kinds of meat.
Effective, sweet, abundant smoke from the ever-reliable Weber range. Great for all meats, and not as heavy or enduring as mesquite, of which you smell for days.

Nice flavour
I used this (hickory) to smoke a brisket recently - 3 pieces was enough for my Kamado Classic II. The wood was effective, had a pleasant smell and flavour was good, not bitter or overpowering. The negative is that 50% of the bag contains smoking wood with bark (which I did not use). Some people consider this to be unacceptable as bark can produce a bitter taste. So either be prepared to smoke with bark on, remove the bark or throw part of the bag away ….

Perfektes Holz für intensives Räucheraroma
Die Hickory-Chunks verleihen Fleisch und Geflügel ein tolles, leicht süßliches Raucharoma. Ich finde praktisch, dass die Stücke schön groß sind und sich gut im Grill oder Smoker platzieren lassen, ohne sofort durchzubrennen. Gerade beim langsamen Räuchern merkt man, wie das Aroma langsam ins Fleisch zieht. Für alle, die gerne grillen oder smoken, sind die Chunks eine super Möglichkeit, das Geschmackserlebnis noch intensiver zu machen.

Sabor intenso BBQ
Genial aroma a BBQ, es de sabor intenso, por lo que es más bien para cerdo y carnes rojas. Para pescados no es muy apropiado

Not cheap, but good quality and gives off a great taste.
I've tried all kinds of wood in my offset smoker (Taino Yuma XXL, which is a great smoker btw) but I finally settled on using Hickory for most kinds of meat. It gives off a pretty strong and somewhat sharp taste, which to me is how smoked meats should taste. I use simple charcoal brikettes for keeping the fire going and temperature steady, and add Hickory chunks for the taste. I use about one whole bag of Hickory for a 4 to 5 hour hot smoking session. Weber chunks aren't cheap. But I dont smoke very often, and when I do, I want it to be great. The chunks are clean, nicely sized, well dried and overall just a good product. If you burn through a lot, I recommend finding a cheaper source, but for the occasional backyard session, these will do just fine.
