This book does contain plans for varies sized canoes. But it only has a materials list for one and even that is vague. You’ll learn nothing you can’t watch in detail on You Tube. So all your really getting for your money is the plans which come printed on both sides. So you’ll need carbon paper to transfer onto ply. Before you waste your money check on timber and epoxy supplies. Expect to pay around £6-700 for the epoxy, as for the Wood I’ve contacted every timber merchant I know and can’t get any western red cedar. So I’m guessing if I could that would be very expensive.

I should have read the listing more carefully as the book doesn’t have plans for kayak.Still a good read giving lots of details about how to set up the build and also what materials and tools required.

An excellent book for beginners or more experienced builder.I amGoing to build a 16 footer from one of the plans supplied.The detail the author puts into the book is most informative,It's a good read even if you are not going to have a go at buildinga canoe yourself.
