Got this for my catio
recently installed this cat door for my window, and it’s been a game-changer for both me and my cats! It was surprisingly easy to install—took about 15 minutes—and the instructions were clear. The door fits securely in the window frame and doesn’t interfere with the window’s operation, which is great. My cats absolutely love it! They can now go in and out at their leisure, especially during nice weather, without having to wait for me to open the door. The flap is sturdy, but soft enough that they can push it open easily. It’s also surprisingly quiet, which is a big plus. The design is sleek and doesn’t take up much space, so it doesn’t detract from the window view. It’s also built well, and I’ve had no issues with durability so far.Overall, this cat door has made my life easier and given my cats more freedom. If you’re looking for a convenient, space-saving way to let your cats come and go, I highly recommend this one!

Great Product
I received the window sash for chubby cats yesterday. My cat is 18 pounds (but losing weight) and he fits through it just fine. It did install easily, though the weather stripping included wasn't enough to apply to both the bottom and top of the length of the window as instructed. I bought wider foam stripping at Home Depot and that works better. Instead of using the vinyl flaps for the seal to the window, I used clear packing tape. To make the rest of my window secure, now that I couldn't latch it, I placed a vertical piece of 1-inch diameter PVC pipe between the top edge of the window and the frame up by the ceiling so no one would be able to raise the window from the outside. My cat learned very quickly to use the window. I agree with the buyer who said the cats need a landing, so I placed a box-shaped portion of his jungle gym on the ground outside the window that he can use to jump up on. I don't mind that the flap doesn't always close fully because it makes it easier for him to realize that the window is open and he's able to push through it. Mine is not placed in an area exposed to wind. To close it off at night because I don't want him out in the dark, I lock it, and then I have put two strips of velcro on either side of the flap, and matching strips on a same-sized piece I cut out of the cardboard box the window came in, and I press that on over the front of the whole unit so he can no longer see out (and thus not understand why it looks the same but now it won't open) and then I also place an extension curtain rod in front of it in the window frame to keep him from pulling off the cardboard. After I did that, he gave up trying to get out and rested for the night. He and I both love the product - thanks so much for inventing it!

Great little window door
The media could not be loaded. The third time is the charm. I ordered this product 3 times. The first time the lock was defective, second time the same issue. I returned both. I was about to give up but I ordered it one more time and this time the lock worked properly. The lock works 4 different ways. You can either leave it completely locked so the cat can't leave or come in. The in position only allows the cat to come in but not out. The out position is only for the cat to go out but not in. The final position is open for the cat to go in and out as he pleases. I bought this for my cat who goes out for a little bit around my yard in the daytime but I didn't wanna keep my door open all the time (I have a doggy door as well but its the door outside not inside). He goes in and out through the window as he pleases. When it's getting a little late I just leave it in the in position and my cat comes in but can't leave, then I lock it for the night. It has been working great especially now with the cold weather. Sometimes the door doesn't go all the way down when it closes, sometimes it does. It's not bad though, it's only minimal. It's easy to install anyone could do it. There are a few areas in the bottom where I do feel a little air draft. I'm going to buy something to help with that.

Pet window
I have had this for almost 2 years now. I like that it fits the purpose, was easy to put in, and works well. One feature I do NOT like is the lock. It's in the center of the flap and the mechanism is on the bottom. My cats have managed to open it even when it's locked. Either they push thru it or they move the lock possibly from stepping on it. Maybe if they would put 2 locks or a slider like some flaps have.
