Pattern not yet used, but pictures look really pretty
Bought this pattern to have a go at making the coat, which looks amazing. Have managed to get some fabric ready to have a go, (bought a pair of beautiful brocade curtains secondhand) but not started yet, so can't comment on the pattern''s ease of use, fit and simplicity. I intend to make it in the dark green brocade, with some hand made Dorset buttons in different styles/colours on the front, with maybe some hand finished embroidery to finish off?

Just as described, can't wait to get started, love McCall patterns.

Imprecise
My daughter cannot get the size correct from these as some parts fit her and others arexway too big.Some seams do not align correctly as on one piece it is several centimetres bigger than the adjoining part.For a big name like this you would think the patterns would be better measured.

Not easy
It says easy on the packet but it certainly is not. The sizing is awfull. The size 14 which, i usually am, has a stupid tiny waist, which anyone who is a size 14 does not have. All in all an absolutly awfull pig of a job to make.

Le istruzioni sono arrivate solo in inglese e spagnolo nonostante sulla scatola sia indicato anche il francese. Un po'complicato per chi inizia a cucire ma spiega molto bene
