Wireless Android Auto is unreliable
Respectable specs for this head unit for sound quality however the Android Auto connection is very unreliable. I have a pixel 8 pro and it disconnects every 5 minutes. I end up having to plug it in after several attempts at reconnecting. The lower physical buttons are nice for some tactile feedback, but for the price of this unit you would think Android Auto would be more reliable. I'd be returning this if I wasn't outside the 30 day window. I only waited because I was hoping it would somehow improve. It hasn't, so now I have an overpriced wired only Android auto head unit.

Not worth the premium price
I agree with comments made by "MICAH" - I have had same issues and it's very frustrating, particularly since there is not much you can do when driving down the road with your family and the fifth-wheel and the radio decides to disconnect. One of the features that appealed to me initially was the ability to connect 4 or more cameras but the menu screens getting you to more than 2 cameras is quite obtuse and there is no ability to edit camera names so the one on the rear of my trailer remains "LEFT" and the cab-top camera used to visualize the hitch is called "RIGHT". Also the hitch camera inverts the image (upside-down) of my trailer hitch even if I physically rotate the camera (???WTF #6) so that's next to worthless.Another odd thing is that the unit frequently connects to my Android cell via WiFi (???WTF #12) for no discernible reason. If I had it to do all over again I would have purchased a $200 Pioneer and some add-on hardware switcher to provide for more cameras...

Wireless andriod auto loses connection
Wireless andriod auto while playing music skips often, at times screen will say connection lost and others will just skip like a old scratched cd. Using Amazon music with this unit is not seamless, the built in voice assistant is google. So when you que the assistant and ask for music it default to Amazon, and I haven't found a easy way to use assistant for music. What has worked is leaving phone screen on with Amazon music open, then "Alexa play xyz" it will then play and show in the andriod auto home screen. Other options are not use andriod auto at all and simply use Bluetooth. I bought this unit specifically for Wireless andriod auto and it is below expectations. I contacted Kenwood customer service for any tips, their response was try a different music app. So essentially I know In description we say Amazon music works, but to fix it just use a different app. I'm using a Samsung note 20 ultra and I have found even when battery is 100% not in battery saver mode it skips a lot. While experimenting I put phone in enhanced mode and on my 5 minute drive it seemed to skip less just have to keep eye on battery of phone for that. Gauges mode on unit kinda neat but won't use much, I was able to clear a check engine code on truck. My 2011 f150 shows a fuel inlet code for a capless gas system. Cleared the code so nice to have the check engine light off. Menu's are somewhat confusing but many settings and most of them will never get touched. Overall unit is just eh okay, but very disappointing the Wireless andriod auto skips and can't use voice assistant for Amazon music.
