Red DingoClassic Dog Harness Plain, Red, Medium 20mm

I initially got the small in this harness, but when it arrived the strapping was 15mm wide which I didn't like. I think the straps should be 20mm wide for anything but a tiny dog, so although I was sure that the initial one would have fitted my dog (schnoodle: 9.5kg), I thought the 15mm straps were out of proportion to his body; too narrow as I said, and also the lead I use is 20mm wide so there is that too. I would have had to pay return postage to send the first harness back, but after arguing my case with Amazon customer service I was able to return it for free which was good of them, so because of that I was happy to reorder the medium. So, after careful adjustment of the second harness with 20mm wide straps it fits BoBo perfectly and looks correct and in proportion. He is a very standard miniature poodle cross miniature schnauzer, so I would advise the medium for anything along those lines; for anyone not in the know, miniature poodles and schnauzers are not really all that miniature; bit of a misnomer because of the various sizes of poodles and schnauzers. Anyway, I was thinking when I first saw this harness whether it was a good idea that it has two buckle bones instead of one, but in actual fact it gives it a nice symmetry and stops it slipping to one side I think, well it tends to stay more central than my previous one, and of course you only need to open one buckle bone to slip it on your dog. The adjustment on the front chest and belly makes sure you have a perfect fit and I just kept adjusting it here and there till I was happy with how it sat on my dog. I would take a picture of it on BoBo but he's asleep now and I just want to get this review done, because I know from experience how much money you can waste getting the wrong thing for your dog so I really wanted to review it while I had the time. So I would recommend this harness, dog seems happy, I'm happy, I would buy again if needs be.

Lovely little collar that is very affordable and great quality. I essentially brought this as a means to aid in training my little goblin before possibly moving him onto a harness when he's ready to go outside.The colour is lovely and bright and the clip works very smoothly every time. It's also very easy to adjust as well as looking and feeling the part. As size extra small it fits my 9 week doggo right on the bottom end of the strap so it will fit him for quite some time if needed.I could see that the material could be a little smoother in order to allow it to rotate around the neck a little easier, but for short term wear, and for the cost, I absolutely can't complain.

Just what I've been looking for nice and thin not big normally they are two big and thick for my dog I really like the style of the coller I like the clip bone not to bulky perfect size I got the xtra small I had to tighten it up to the shortest one to actually get it to fit she comfortable in it looks great.

A great harness, so I have a 9.4kg Male pug and as dog owners know pug necks are quiet large so it makes buying a harness or lead hard especially if your relying on size charts as sometimes they come up small because of a thick neck. This harness is perfect for my pug, the adjustments make it easy to custom fit it to your dog, and the brown colour on my fawn pug is a nice colour variant. Highly recommended and will be buying other colours

A very adjustable harness which cannot be pulled off the dog (over the head) and the dog cannot back out of it either. Lovely fit and easy to fatten with big clips that are bone shaped and very easy to use. does not rub my dogs anywhere and washes up lovely, dries quickly. great colours too!!

Lovely collar.... my pup is a very small Yorkshire Terrier though and the collar is still to big for him just yet. Smallest it goes is 8" and my puppy is 8" and can get his chin stuck under it.... waiting until he grows into it.

Fantastic harness for small dogs. I purchsed quite a few harnesses but non of them fit either to big or to small for my Miniature Pinschers. I wish I had found Red Dingo first would have saved me a lot of hassle. If you have a small dog I highly recommend this harness. You can adjust this harness around the neck, belly and underneath areas to get a perfect fit. Little dogs have a tendancy to slip out of harnesses, not this one, very secure. I feel so safe walking my Miniature Pinschers now. Just brilliant well done Red Dingo.
