We use these pans for EVERYTHING from baking and roasting to meal prepping and even as a watering tray for garden starts. By the way the 2 inch deep 1/3 pans fit PERFECTLY in our toaster oven!! So much so I haven't used the big oven in YEARS. The half size pans 4 inch deep are AMAZING for smoking 2 chickens or 1 average turkey so we keep a set of 4 of the half sized pans dedicated specifically for using within our Brinkman smokers. We use full size large deeps for butchering and smallest for meal prep. EVERY Size and depth has a purpose. These pans are the perfect thickness as an ideal quality and durability for the busiest of commercial kitchens while being inexpensive enough for the smallest home kitchen and sooo easy to clean. We used to use those cheap flimsy black trays for our seed starting but the winds would throw them and the sun would bake them, they never lasted one season. I finally got smart enough to use these pans instead - GAME CHANGER!!! They last FOREVER even out in the sun and tossed by the wind, my biggest problem is keeping my gardening friends from running off with our pans ... well except for my best gardening friend who ALWAYS takes a few home with her to bake us all wonderful treats in! :-) WARNING - do NOT bake in any commercial pans with the same size lid ON unless the lid has the spoon notch, otherwise the lids can and will seal themselves up TIGHT especially if there is sticky sweet potato casserole inside - don't ask me how I know LOL!!! That happened years ago at Thanksgiving but it was a powerful lesson we share with anyone who grabs the lids :-)

The pans are nice. The only issue is when you stack them together they fit tight together and you will fight getting them apart.
