Great radio/bluetooth speaker system!
This was recommended by a friend who uses one for work all the time. My latest works radio had died and I was looking for something robust enough to last on a building site, have decent sound and be small enough not to be a handful for carrying around. This fits the bill perfectly. In fact it is actually a little too good as a work radio, but the price makes it genuinley affordable. The sound is amazing for the size. The radio is easy to tune despite the lack of presets. And the battery lasts easily the whole day - I'm on the third day and still not charged it. The bluetooth connection is great for when no radio signal is available, simply connect to your phone and listen to the music there. The whole outfit is very well built and the radio seems to be plenty robust enough for site work so would also be ideal for travel. I really can't fault this item other than it would be even better if it came with a dual USB charger, bought mine seperately so that I can run the radio and my phone on the mains if I am in one place long enough.

Great sound, Great portability, and can take a few knocks....
Amazing sound quality, and very versatile, you can connect anything to it. Was not expecting much from the radio, but that worked perfectly out in the countryside whilst we were camping. This is a great bit of kit, I use it every day while doing my personal training sessions and now even some of my clients want to buy one!!

I'm little bit disappointed from the speaker
I'm little bit disappointed from the speaker. Generally work great but there are some points I'm frustrated from. first: Fabric packaging was previously opened - secure stamp was visibly previously opened . I cant think something nice about this if there are functionality issues on the product. second: From time to time there is dysfunction of decrease volume bottom. Instead of decreasing of volume it switch a mode. The switch mode bottom is far enough from decrease volume bottom so this is not caused by thick finger. I didn't find a reason of this and it occurs very random and just from time to time. But it make me agree if instead of decreasing volume I listen "Bluetooth mode". third: Then speaker arrived it played mp3 in random mode. there is not mentioned any random mode of the memory card model user manual. But from a time, may be by pushing of a bottom combination it started to play in succession as I expected this should play. four: Then I first time switched the speaker to radio, it starts searching for channels. but you are not able to switch in between channels in a memory, You should go to neighborhood frequency instead. I didn't find any similar issues reported in reviews so expect this just a wrong peace. I will ask for replacement because from all other side speaker works great. One has very nice reproduction, it look really solid, charging of battery work really fast and battery last approximately 10 hours. Worst for me is dysfunction of decrease volume bottom.

Ticks all the boxes
I originally got this to go in my car, which didn't have a radio. It was the only one I could find with a digital display to show the fm tuning. This makes it so much easier to find the right station. The radio is picks up signal easily but will struggle to keep up if you are moving. The sound is good but the bass isn't outstanding. It is really excellent quality and the cable supplied is smart. You can't get better for the price. I have now had it for a few years and it continues to impress me.

Hmmm, a few problems here but for the money it's fine. On start up it says "powering on" quite loudly, in a very English gent voice, along with: "Bluetooth mode, FM mode, device paired" and "powering off." This is fine but you can't switch off or adjust the volume of these announcements. Playback is fine but don't turn it up as that wee subwoofer in the base will fart like a goose in the fog. The 3.5 jack is a lovely colour of red but there is a bit of earthly hummmmm when connected to your phone etc. Haven't tried the SD slot yet. But, it works fine in my kitchen which is where it was bought for and is loud enough, just don't expect Wembley stadium volume levels. I said I should have bought the Bose but my wife has a chum with a wee Bose and in her own words; "it ain't all that!"

Worth Every Penny !!
I am not the worlds leading audio expert but I know decent sound when I hear it and this little speaker represents great value for money. Sound is clear at all volumes and after 15 hours or so 'running in' they are even better. I have found best sound quality from a memory card but via Bluetooth and mp3 player aux line it is still good. I have a Bose Wave System that cost approx. 15 times more than this several years ago but it is only a little better at filling a room with sound and I admit I was a little surprised with that. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

The sound quality of the product is great for the price
The sound quality of the product is great for the price, but the speaker has problems that makes it pretty useless. The bluetooth modes keeps dropping the connection. The line-in input has a constant hum when selected. The display is constantly on and very annoying.

Love my Polaris, bluetooth speaker with replaceable batteries!
Polaris V8 Portable Bluetooth Speaker with FM Radio, Micro SD Mp3 Player, NFC &- Removable 18650 Li-ion Battery- 9W(4.5W X 2) wireless speaker with Passive Radiator - (Black) Have been loving my Polaris V8 and use it all the time. It has enough volume to fill a room to a decent volume level and is simple to set up and use. One great feature is that if it's on Bluetooth mode, when you switch on it automatically looks for a device to connect with eg phone or laptop - if they have their bluetooth on it connects by itself and makes a noise that let's you know it's connected, then it's good to go. Additionally it has a line in setting to mini jack and an fm radio setting. I spent a long time looking around for a Bluetooth portable speaker WITHOUT a built in battery and eventually found this. They have got round it being a closed unit by the whole thing being wrapped in a band of rubber with the back open for battery and connections and the front with the speaker grill. I think this disposable device idea is a terrible one and will mean many devices like these and bike lights will have to be binned when the battery fails - extremely bad for the environment and ultimately more expensive! Additionally having replaceable batteries make this great for camping etc because if you buy a few of the batteries you can charge them in advance so you can have spares ready.
