When this arrived I felt really disheartened. I picked it up in the UK and live in Spain - I almost threw it away thinking there is no chance of our English Bull Terrier's big head fitting through it! Got home and gave it a try, its almost like its been made to measure, it slips neatly over her head and fits like a glove!!! We didn't like it fastened one way with the wider section under, so flipped it around so the wider section on the top - there is a D ring on each side. Not entirely sure how its supposed to work to be honest, but we cut off the bit that wasn't needed and we have a really lovely soft harness. Purchased initially for the car so she wasn't strapped into the car by her heavy duty K9 harness but as she's stopped pulling so much so its absolutely perfect for general walks. The only thing I miss from the K9 is the handle on the top! She is 24kg and this size fits her perfectly. Its good quality, a fantastic colour and generally looks gorgeous on her! I'll try to add in a photo. I would say if you are considering a lightweight harness this is the best ever - I'm going to buy another one so she has a spare!Updating the review with a photo. This may help anyone, like me, who didn't think it fit their dog well. It works superbly the wrong way around - I am surprised they don't give instructions that it can be worn both ways, you just need to cut the tab off under the neck otherwise the dog may chew it like mine did! I add that with this change of wearing style its just the best lightweight harness I've come across so far! I still keep the K9 harness if I need to have full control with the handle, but for the car and daily walks, this is absolutely perfect. I live in Spain and its much cooler than the heavy duty harness also and soft against her delicate (she's barely got fur underneath) skin!

I am really impressed with these harnesses, I saw the same product in a local pet outlet and the price was double, I ordered one each for my two dogs, the delivery was very quick and I loved them so much I ordered another two in different colours for them, my dogs get very muddy I just put the harness in the washer when I get home then leave it to dry, They are comfortable for the dogs and look really good. I find it very easy to clip their leads on as the tag is on the back,. The only down side was that they did not have a blue one in stock when I placed my orders. would highly recommend these.

I have always used neck collars for my dog but as she has developed a habit to pull on her leash, I was getting worried about her comfort.I got this hoping that it would be more comfortable with the pulling being distributed partly to her body. However there are 2 issues with this design. Firstly, both leash hoops on the harness are close to the neck , meaning still a lot of pull on the neck. The second issue is fit, as the neck collar part is too big for my dog and can not be adjusted it rides up ( I did not appreciate this beforehand as I this is my first time using a harness)The harness is however made well and sturdy in its construction.

I bought this for a housecat to go out into the garden. I had bought a cheap one from BM before I ordered this which I tried and he managed to walk out of. When this arrived it was far superior quality to the shop bought one and had the D ring in a better place, ie at the neck on the back. This one is good as well having the D ring at the front for a name tag for a dog off the lead. I had to return this as it was too big and also my cat didn't like going out in the cheap one I bought, so I didn't exchange for a smaller one. I think for the money it is excellent but it is worth measuring accurately your pet so you get the neck size right as it is not adjustable. Came in good packaging which for an xl came through the letterbox. Good customer service.

Love these harnesses....really comfortable. We have a Sprocker Spaniel and before I found these, we had real trouble finding a harness to fit her, as she has a narrow neck and then expands on the way down! Bless her!But these are a great fit for her.Really easy to put on and adjust round the chest. You can't adjust the neck part though. But would definitely recommend.5 stars every time.

Brilliant item, thick, slightly padded and perfectly true to size. Bought one around 12 months ago and just bought a second as he’s grown out of the first one.Bought the small this time and it’s brilliant as expected. The first one would last loads longer if my puppy hadn’t grown up! still in perfect condition. Easy to wash and you can easily adjust the sizes if needed.

This is my 3rd harness from Dexil in 2 1/2 years, not because of any fault because they last so well i wanted a change of colour ! Superb company fast delivery ,accurate photos and measurement table, which helps so much. Love this company ...great customer service . Thank you Dexil. The communication with this company...had a problem they answered quickly and resolved it within a matter of days. Wish more companies were like this.

I was pleased with this harness at first until it sadly started to fall apart after less then 2 months usage. The main part that holds the clip ring has all but come apart and there is fraying also. My dog is a Jack Russell weighs 6kg and walks to heel with our Labrador. I know this wasn't that expensive but it wasn't fit for purpose having only lasted a few weeks.
