Great Deal. Easy Installation. No need to remove your two hook or your bumper cover.
The hitch seems well made. The price was best on the internet. The installation was pretty easy. The instructions said you have to remove your rear tow hook. Disregard that. You don't. I really can't envision any scenario where removing the tow hook would make the install easier. It is no where near where the hitch is attached. That part of the instruction might be necessary if you buy a heavier hitch that bolts to the frame rails. The online video shows installation with the rear plastic bumper wrap removed. Disregard that as well. You can leave it on. There is just enough room between the plastic bumper wrap and the actual metal bumper to get the washers on and the nuts started if you take your time and use some needle nosed pliers, tweezers, or forceps to assist you in getting the washers on and the nuts started. It looks impossible, but it isn't. I did drop them several times, but was working on a surface that made them easy to find. Had I been in grass or gravel I might have had to spend some time looking for dropped hardware. At one point It did need an extra little bit of gap between the plastic and the metal. I wedged a socket in between which spread the gap maybe 1/8", which was all I needed. An open end wrench easily fits in for the final tightening. I only need that because I had a GearWrench under the Jeep with me and I was too lazy to crawl out and get a static box end wrench. My GearWrench on the open end side is straight on and would line up right, until I wedged the bumper cover back a tiny bit. Another thing in the instructions to disregard is that they show the bolts going from back of Jeep to front. Do it the other way, insert from front of bumper - you can angle down over the muffler and get them in. One YouTube video, which was very helpful, showed working the rubber muffler hangers off their hooks and letting the muffler drop down. That would give you a little better angle to get the bolts into place, but again - it isn't necessary and really is just an invitation for getting an exhaust leak or rattle that you didn't have before. Getting the washers on and nuts started is the only challenging thing about this install and the challenge is patience rather than strength or knowledge. All in all it is a 20 minute job. The wiring takes another 10 minutes and it is very easy. The instructions for that are pretty good. There is a foam pad in bottom of the tail light housing. You can take that out, run you wiring, and then put it back in. I didn't take any pictures. Sorry about that. Just look everything over before you start. Try the installation with everything in place as I suggested. If that doesn't work for you, then consider removing the plastic bumper cover. I didn't really even look at what that entails, Who knows, maybe that wouldn't be difficult. If that plastic cover was off, this would be a 5 minute or less install, four bolts, washers, and nuts.

Great product, easy installation and all this for an unbelievable price!
WOW! I ordered this Saturday evening and received it Monday around noon. I had it installed 30 minutes later! The hitch fits perfect, the wiring harness made it very easy to install the electrical portion. For $60 you can't beat the ease of install and product appears to be very well made. Installed on a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Will be used to pull motorcycles and/or atv and luggage on hitch carrier. Update 11/11/2015 - After a couple of uses, I've found the only drawback to be the location of the 4 prong wire holder. If you use a locking hitch pin you may difficulty getting the pin in/out with wire holder being line with the hitch pin holes. Here are some tips for proper installation: - Tools required - 1. Torque wrench 2. 18 mm box wrench (adjustable wrench works, but distance between bumper and bolt make it more difficult to use) 3. 18 mm socket and ratchet 4. Flashlight 5. Needle-nose pliers 6. Phillips head screwdriver - Instruction update - 1. When installing the wiring start at the hitch. There are a couple of pre-installed wire clips that attach to the frame and starting from the hitch, working toward the taillight makes it easier to determine the best route to install. 2. Run the wiring through the square cutout in the foam behind the taillight instead of in the corner as the picture shows. There is also a place to snap in the wire clip that is pre-installed on the wiring. 3. Use needle-nose pliers to install the washers and nuts as there isn't much room between the bumper and the frame.

OEM-like quality product; Simple installation; Excellent results
I recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2013 Wrangler 2-door. I need to pull a 16' speedboat weighing about 1200lbs. The dealer wanted over $200 for the hitch set-up, so I opted to shop around Amazon before accepting their offer. Found this one for just under $60 that looked pretty much the same as the dealer issue, so I went for it. In regard to the installation, it took about an hour, but more time was spent getting the wrenches, droplight and creeper out than the actual installation time itself. The kit carton was sealed with all hardware within plastic envelopes or wrapped in foam. There was NO instruction sheet whatsoever, so it must have been a mfg oversight, but because this is such a simple product to install, reading other reviews and videos filled in any technical gaps. For instance, I took the advice of another reviewer to crazy glue the washers to the hitch on the nut side of the assy. This helped for 3 out of 4 of them. One fell off due to the weld line of the connector holder, but was not a big issue. I used Knipex slip joint plyers to hold the nuts to get them started. Knipex are similar to Channelocks, but the jaws are thinner which was easier to fit between the frame and the bumper. I used a torque wrench to tighten to 80 ft/lbs, but this became a little bit of a challenge due to the angle I was at under the vehicle and how to hold the open end wrench and torque wrench at the same time. For the 2 nuts toward the driver's side, I simply let the open end wrench turn with the nuts until they contacted the hitch itself, and used it as stop to counteract the torque wrench. On the 2 nuts toward the passenger side, there was nothing to stop the wrench from turning, so I used a screwdriver placed under the bumper and frame to stop the open end wrench from turning. I included a photo of this technique. In regard to the wiring kit, I had a slight issue with the lights malfunctioning. This was an oversight on my part with the connectors. Being over careful, I was concerned with pushing them together too hard in fear of breakage. I late found out that they really need to be pushed together, so I used my Knipex plyers. I heard a click from both connectors, which it was what they supposed to do. All lights worked perfectly. The wire tubing has 4 push stays that are pushed into pre-existing holes in the frame, so no zip-ties are necessary. All served to provide a factory-like installation of both the hitch and the wiring kit.

Very well made, super easy installation. Worth every penny.
As a serious DIY'er, I'm very impressed with the quality of this entire package. The receiver is well built, with a nice finish. It looks like it will provide years of service and still look nice. The wiring harness could not have been easier to install, and also looks to be well made. No cutting or splicing wires, all plug and play. The entire install of the receiver and wiring took less than 1/2 hour. I do have pretty much every tool known to man and this made it easier. I did not have to loosen or remove my bumper. I brought the bolts through from the front and put the nuts toward the back of the Jeep. I couldn't get my short fat fingers into the narrow space to hold the nuts, but had extra long needle nosed pliers that could. Once the nuts were started a long open end wrench slid right in to hold the nuts while I tightened them down. I didn't order the factory tow package when I purchased the Jeep, and I'm glad I didn't! The factory package is $495 (if my memory is correct). This TYGER combo saved me almost $450, with a bit of sweat equity.

Awesome product - Super to easy install and Perfect fit
Hopefully this review will answer most questions - I own a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 4 door. This hitch is a breeze to install. First of all there is no need to take off the bumper and instead of messing around with tape or long nose pillers just put a drop of super glue on the washer and nut and glue them to the hitch. Then just slide the hitch on and install the bolt and washer (you just have slide the bolts on top of the muffler so make sure it is not hot). I used a 18mm or 3/4 open wrench to hold the nuts from spinning and a 18mm socket to tighten the bolts. It literally took under 10 min. to install. The wiring harness is even easier, just take off the tail light (4 screws) and disconnect the plug and plug in the hitch cable. Feed the cable through existing hole and connect the cable to the bumper with the supplied clips and done. It took under 5 minutes. So total time with getting tools, gluing, installation under 30min. BTW there are instructions provided and they are easy to understand.

Tyger should send a different nut and washer combination
Once you finally get the hitch installed, it works great and looks great. But the reason I gave it only 2 stars on "Easy to Install" is because even though you are only dealing with 4 bolts, 8 washers, and 4 nylon nuts, this was really a pain and took much longer than it had to. Your options are 1) to remove the bumper and then the process is very easy, but taking the bumper off and then replacing it take time and may not be for the novice; or 2) fight and fight and fight to get the washer and nylon nut in between the small space between the hitch and the bumper and try to get the bolt started into the nut. So you are working with absolutely no extra space to try to get all of this lined up, and holding the nut and washer with your fingers is impossible due to zero room to do so. I don't know how many times the washer and/or nut fell as I tried to get it started, but it was much more than it had to be. So what I did, and hopefully this will help those who order this product, is I finally superglued the washer to the nut so they would become one piece. I actually tried to leave the washer out but you have to hold the nut with a wrench or a pair of plier as you try to get the bolt started, and each time I felt I was close the nut would rotate slightly in the tool and then you have to start all over. After I glued the washer to the nut, the nut was no longer able to rotate since the tool was against the side of the washer, and then this became an easy job. All you need is a 19 mm wrench to hold the nut and glued washer in place and then an 18 mm socket to tighten everything together. For a few extra pennies, I think Tyger company could simply change out the separate washer and nut included in the set for a combination one-piece washer and nut which was greatly simplify this. The frustration was worth it, and I didn't give in and remove the bumper, and the hitch does look and function great. The wiring install only took a couple of minutes, and if the company would send the correct nut and washer combo, OR if you can find a combination of these 2 things in a 19 size, it would be worth your effort.

I decided to buy one off Amazon instead and couldn't be more pleased with the product and purchase
So I bought a new JK this week and the only thing it was missing was a receiver hitch. The dealership wanted $457 to install one and it would be at least a week until it was on there. I decided to buy one off Amazon instead and couldn't be more pleased with the product and purchase. Ordered on Friday, delivered Sunday morning, on the Jeep by lunch time EZPZ. First off I want to thank some of the other reviewers for their installation tips. It really gave me a heads up on what to expect and eliminated almost all of the potential frustration of the install. I'm going to give a quick wrap up to help any who come after me. Installed on a 2015 JK two door sport with very basic hand tools by a guy who hires out 95% of the tools related stuff that needs doing around the house and cars. I used needle nose pliers, crescent wrench, broken ratchet with 3/4" regular socket, regular phillips screwdriver and long common screwdriver (as a pry bar). Oh, and don't forget a flashlight if your eyes are getting old. 1. Make sure the vehicle and particularly the muffler are cooled down. You will be very close to the muffler during the entire hitch installation. You do not need to loosen the muffler to install so don't worry with that unless you happen to have a lift at your disposal and a rolling tool case nearby and charge mechanics labor by the hour. The instructions say to remove the tow hook but I really don't know why? I left mine on because I'm sure I will use it sooner or later. 2. Lie on your back underneath the mounting point and line up one of the end holes with the hitch in one hand (don't worry about lining up the other holes yet). With your other hand angle a mounting bolt with washer head side towards the bottom of the jeep and slide over the top of the muffler a bit. The bolt will start into the hole at an angle but once started you will be past the muffler and can push all the way through the frame and other side of the hitch. Repeat on the other end hole. Now the middle holes are lined up so repeat with those two. 3. Break out your pry bar and pry the bumper cover away from the frame so you have some room to work on the nut side. It is tight and can be frustrating if you don't know what to expect. You can get an extra inch or more of room which is enough with somewhat steady hands. Grab a washer on one end with needle nose pliers and place over the end of the bolt. Now grab a bolt with regular pliers and place over the end of the bolt and finger tighten the head just to get it started. Repeat with the other bolts. 4. Tighten to proper torque. Your receiver is now installed. 5. Regular phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws on drivers side tail light. Pull apart harness from vehicle to light. Plug in trailer harness to each end (you can't mess this up they only go one way). There's an opening inside the light well/corner of the jeep to push the trailer harness end through so push it through. 6. Get back under the Jeep, thread the harness over the frame and push the end into the mounting bracket on the hitch. Find the holes on the inside of the frame to press the mounting clips to and do that (gee. it's like it was made for it). Put the tail light back on the Jeep if you haven't already and your lights are now good to go. 7. Go play with your toys.

Easy install, and fits COD MW3 special edition JK
I was worried this wouldn't fit my Call of duty mw3 jk, since the bumper doesn't have the indention some jeep bumpers have for a hitch. Luckily it does fit. To make installation easy I recommend you put the washer and nut on the bolt (the bolt works like a guide) then super glue the nut and washer together. (Flat side of the nut toward the washer) Then, using the bolts as a guide again, super glue the nut/washer combo to the hitch. Make sure the nuts are on the side of the hitch that faces the back of the jeep. Then just hold the hitch in place while you install, and hand tighten the bolts. Mine came with 19mm nuts, and 18mm bolts. Then fully tighten the bolts, and your good to go.

No problems what so ever!
I installed this on my 2018 Jeep wrangler which was pretty much as new. Took the 4 bolts out of the bumper. Hung the hitch with one turn up into position and bolted the other 3. Easy peasy. Wiring was the same, easy to do as in instructions. This all worked easy because the captive nuts were held in place by the factory retainers. If the retainers were rusty and didn't hold the nuts in place it would have made the job a lot harder.
