Don't over water.
The design is fun and the transparency makes it easy to view the ants. However, the designers may have not been aware of how ants operate. If you aren't careful, you can overwater and cause condensation on the clear inside.

Watch out for mold
It didn’t work for my son because a mold grew in it and killed the ants.

Black mold growing inside
Upon opening box black mold was growing in and on this item. Smelled strongly of mold. Will not be good as the product was intended to house ants.

Came broken as far as the clay material used and had huge amounts of condensate on the nest area!Returned immediately!!!!
