Inconsistent (possible user error)
I bought this to find the studs in a wall that according to the knock test the studs were super out of whack, but when I used it in the same areas with the same setting sometimes it would say there was a stud sometimes not the places it says there should be one don't pass the knock test but it never catches the ones I am sure are there. It could be user error, though I let my dad try it as well and he had similar results a beep in a spot then he'd move it away and back with no beep.

Pretty good
It measures several different types of studs, and even measures if there’s wires behind the wall. Cheap and does the job.

It’s ok servers it’s purpose I guess but could be better
Sometimes I’ll have it lined up it will say I’m in the center then 2 seconds later with out moving at all it will say I’m off center or the stud is now somehow a inch over

He usado el aparato para instalar muebles atornillados a la pared en una cocina y en un baño en los que no sabía por donde iban las tuberías ni la instalación eléctrica . Cumplió su función y no perfore ni cables ni tuberías.

Dovevo fare 4 buchi nel muro per installare il nuovo mobile del bagno. Ha fatto il suo lavoro segnalando il tubo esistente ed evitandomi di bucarlo. Onesto e facile da usare

Absolut untauglich
Das Gerät funktioniert keineswegs. Habe es bestellt, weil es wenigstens 4 Sterne hat. Man versucht es tausendfach es richtig zu kalibrieren, aber es zeigt ständig an, dass überall Strom fließt. Wirklich absoluter Quatsch - nicht kaufen.
