Q: How is this umbrella supposed to actually open and close?

OPEN: 1. Take off the packaging bag and loosen the Velcro strap. 2. It clicks when you push the center up, the umbrella will be fixed at fully opened. CLOSE: 1. Find the button at the top of the inside umbrella, press it until you hear a click. 2. Pull the handle back until fixed at the shortest length.

It's fairly good but as with all umbrellas the potential is there based on the wind strength
