Works great! Second purchase. Water is clear, no odor and tastes great. Much better price than Whirlpool's filter. Will buy again.

Read the reviews that this product was a great replacement for the Everydrop 1 but that some of them leak horribly in certain models of refrigerators. Unfortunately it turns out ours is one of those. The design is poor for a Culligan (name brand) product. The diameter is smaller and length shorter as well as the two water ports are upside down from the factory water filters ports and finally it is missing the forward latch lock. It does “look” as it will work but it doesn’t seat right with it not being the same diameter and length as the factory ones. Thankfully because of the previous reviews we were anticipating the leaks and was ready when it started. We then reinstalled the factory one and no leaks, reinstalled the Culligan one again and it leaks everywhere so it was not an incorrect installation.

These work fine but for 10.00 more just buy name brand and not have to deal with the bracket. I suspect the reason they use the bracket is then they can reuse the same filter for multiple models. Its a pain to install and a pain to remove. If you can afford it, just pay the extra 10.00 for the proper filter.

While I wish filters overall cost a bit less, this filter seems to be a fair price and performs the best. So certainly the best bang for the buck. I've tried other filters and brands, but this does the best of them all for my Whirlpool fridge.It improved the taste of my water removing whatever was there before. It tastes nearly as good as RO/bottled water if not better in some cases. Obviously water quality depends on your source and location, so your mileage may vary.As a side note, it fixed my ice maker PSI and it started making ice consistently. Which I suppose speaks to the quality of the filter as well. It filters well while not terribly restricting water flow.I'll be buying more in the future. If it goes on sale, I'm stocking up.

Perfect fit for our whirlpool refrigerator. We've never had a fridge with a filter before, so when I saw how much they cost to replace, I was a bit taken aback. But, this one was cheaper than the OEM version so I tried it out and we're happy with it! Water tastes great, and upon testing the water, no harmful chemicals or metals found. Perfect.
