These are awesome bulbs, really bright. BUT after a few months there will start flickering. Maybe its the price to pay for really bright and effective bulbs. Make sure you have some spares. I can cope because there are no other bulbs this bright (for room or desk lamp), at a natural colour temperature( normal daylight bulb) at a reasonable price. These are in my rebuy list.

So happy that I’ve finally found a perfect light bulb...! Brilliantly bright, super energy efficient long lasting and best thing it’s shape is not like an energy saver spiral that we coped with many years and finally it’s here the much awaited. Thank you. This is my second purchase of x4. Very pleased with first buy now got some for mums place.!!!!

At long last, a really bright LED bulb. I did a comparison test with a 200w incandescent bulb and this 23w LED bulb comes very close in light output: between 180 and 190w. This is a significant improvement on anything else I've been able to find. The big question is- will these bulbs last long in service? There is plentiful anecdotal evidence online of frequent returns for failure or malfunction. The packaging claims a product life of 20+years with 3 hours use a day. I find it hard to believe that, but if, despite their current high cost, they last for half that time I'll be happy as they are really bright and very economical to run. Take a careful note of your delivery date in case of a return as there is a significant outlay required to purchase these.

For those who seek to buy LED bulbs in Amazon know how difficult it is to get the right one. Without much thought to other reviews, i wanted to try it myself to be objective. It has been a pleasant surprise. I discovered these bulbs in October 2018 and have purchased at least 4 times to replace most of the halogen bulbs at home. Nothing like a time tested review where we see the product through its phases. Here is my honest review. Bad 1. 14 out of 16 bulbs gave up within 24 months of moderate use 2. This is not even 10% of the quoted lifespan 3. Customer service tricks you by asking for photos or videos of when the bulb fails. 99% of us cannot do that as the bulb does not inform us before it gives up. It is possible to take a picture/video if it flickers before dying. But, most of my bulbs just stopped working without warning. This way they deny you replacement or refund. Good 1. Light is important to me as it enhances the way we feel and directly affects our well being. I cannot put my finger as to why these bulbs are so different from the others i have purchased over the years. But, it feels cosy and comforting. 2. The colour temperature is perfect for my home. Makes everything soothing and beautiful. I hate white light for home (sorry no offence to any one) 3. The light does not hit or distract the eye. This is so important to me as some bulbs are bright but annoys your eyes. 4. Excels everywhere - be it for reading in the bed, watching TV, entertaining guests or relaxing on the sofa the light is soft to the eyes 5. Does not get hot

An excellent purchase - we used 4 to replace some 1st generation energy saving bulbs in a chapel. These are much brighter than their predecessors although I wouldn't necessarily think they exactly mirror a 200W incandescent bulb. They are perfect for our purposes inside large translucent globe shades - they give an ideal light.

I bought a four pack of these lights in January 2018. The lights were quite heavy and gave very bright warm light. I can't confirm the actual luminous output of these or the efficiency. One of the bulbs was found to be no good very early on. It would flicker and crackle. The cause, I would discover was that the insulating part of the B22 connector was malformed, causing the electrical connection to be of poor quality. A second bulb worked fine for some period (perhaps 8-10 months), but then started to flicker, this must have been some internal fault. The third of the series failed outright today (about 16 months of fairly standard use). There is a drip of viscus fluid and some black stuff on the inside of the bulb. I can't tell you what this explains. I was refunded for the first two bulbs and can't really see a refund coming for the third as it has lasted more than one year. I liked these bulbs when they were working well but as one of the selling points of these and other energy saving light bulbs is their long live span I feel let down.

I had to beef up my light fitting with heat resistant cable and ceramic bulb holder because a 150W traditional bulb gives off enough heat to destroy normal plastic fittings. Then, I discovered these 23W LED bulbs and find they give off the same amount of light of a nice quality and last longer too. So I have made the change permanently. I also tried the 17W bulb but whilst good and long lived it gave less light than ideal. I now use the 17W bulbs elsewhere in the house where their output is appropriate and similar to a 100W traditional bulb.

Bought the warm white bulbs and i must say i am never disappointed with this brand. the bulbs came in packed nicely and are nice and bright. I do not like dark looking rooms and with these bulbs there is ample of light. i have a big living room and 2 of these covers the area nicely. would like to try the white one's also. recommended.
