Great detergent
This stuff is great. Works wonderfully on our dishes and its a great value for the price. I like using powder because liquid is a rip off and pods are bad and scary lol.

Clean dishes, at last!
Powdered dishwasher detergent seems to have gone the way of the dinasaurs. Thankfully Amazon can supply it. My dishes are consistently clean, where several brands of gel detergent disappointed, both in the same dishwasher. It is also positive that Seventh Generation endeavors to be better for the environment.

Clean, effective, no allergies
I love that I’m not wasting money on water in liquid detergent, and I’m not spilling liquid or dry detergent in the bathroom. My family has sensitive skin and this keeps our clothes clean without irritation. Subscribe and save gets it to my house before I run out and it’s perfect for me.

Great stuff
I'm a little disappointed in myself. For most of my adult life, I've used gel dishwashing detergent. Palmolive for the last few years. They stopped making the one I like so I started looking around and found this one. My main focus was one that was healthy for me and the environment. I thought that powder was outdated so I have always used gel. I stumbled across a video that said gel detergent cleans the worst due to something involving the chemical reaction. I've always had to thoroughly clean my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I used my dishwasher more as a sanitizer. Well, with this stuff I no longer have to clean my dishes. I just put them in dirty and they come out perfectly clean most of the time. I'm a little upset at myself because I spend a lot of years cleaning unnecessarily.

Works well
This is our go-to detergent, however on Amazon it comes smaller and they sell two. I prefer to buy it at the store where it’s a bigger size. The product itself is excellent and putting less or more doesn’t seem to have much of an impact - the dishes come out clean. This is better for the environment than the pods, so that’s a plus. Also, the box is easy to recycle.

Love!!!
We had always used a name brand gel detergent, but I started to get annoyed at the way I could smell and taste it on some dishes still. I began to think about how harmful and gross it was to taste the detergent. Still, I was hesitant to go with a more “natural” option because I was worried cleaning power would be compromised. We also had been talking about getting a new dish washer because it didn’t clean well. This detergent is way more powerful than the name brand and it’s like we have a brand new dish washer. There are also no smells left on dishes because there is no scent. Will be using this stuff til the end of time!

Best dishwasher detergent!
I have hard water and this detergent works the best, compared to liquid detergents (plant based or commercial), which have left a film on my dishes. I despise the chemical smell from commercial dishwasher detergents, which makes me question whether or not, consequently, I'm eating those chemicals. Seventh Generation Free & Clear Auto Dish Powder leaves no smell, no residue and my dishes come out sparkling clean. Non-toxic, biodegradable, unscented and clean dishes -- what more can I say? Oh yeah -- great price on Amazon!

Is not compatible w/ Bosch
I'm on a quest to minimize plastic in our household and Bosch specifically recommends Finish brand detergent, but it only comes in large plastic containers. I read that this product worked with high efficiency dishwashers so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Because I knew I was going to be somewhat conducting an experiment, I wanted to make sure I was giving our dishwasher the best chance to obtain success. I removed the perforated plate and removed the trap and scrubbed it clean and ran a cycle w/ dishwasher cleaner prior to running a load. We do rinse our dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher. I also make sure to load the dishes so they are able to be evenly penetrated by water, facing towards the center. We've run 3 loads (at heavy duty) and my conclusion is that many of the dishes have specs of food and soup both on the inside and out. The first load I poured the powder in the dispenser and when the load was done running, about 1/2 of the powder was still in the dispenser and was hard. I had to use a utensil to scrape the remaining out. The final 2 loads, I poured the powder directly in the bottom of the dishwasher, as was suggested somewhere on line. So, no, I wouldn't recommend with Bosch dishwashers. I am still on the quest for a good soap not in plastic. I'm going to try Cult (brand) next. I like they're hand soap and dishwashing soap so we'll see what happens.

Leaves food residue and soap spots on dishes. Trying to return it now. My dishwasher is new and never had this issue with any other solutions (and i tried few).
