very robust camera for price, compared to others. all most 360 deg rotation, packaged well can be powered through poe or by seperaye power supply ( not included with camera). very easily setup great picture, i have sealed it up and placed just below water level in pond to view fish, work well even in nightvision. easy to control via pc control, having slight issues with app for android to control camera and view video, can get snap shots, but no video feed, suspect app or my settings are not correct/ but very happy with camera for price.

This camerea blew me away for £85 this is a phenomenal camera. Truly amazing value for money. Picture quality is great at HD and ptz is nice and quiet motors. Only complaint it could be quicker. Zoom and focus is really good mines 4x and still delivers great quality fully zoomed in. App is really simple to use. Setup was so quick! Scans for the camera and boom! Detected and working no problems! A must have for anyone looking for a great PTZ POE CCTV system.

I purchased one of these 2 weeks ago to test with my system. It worked perfectly, brilliant camera. I logged on to buy a further 2 cameras but found the price has increased by £15 in 2 weeks. Think I may have to look elsewhere.

The item title / description says this camera supports two way audio. It does not. Even the instruction manual makes that clear. Other than that, it is very good. However, as I need audio, it will be going back. If you don’t need audio then I’d recommend it as it is easy to set up and very well constructed. All in all I think this is excellent value.

Great pic and easy to set up. I changed NVRs a few months later and then started having issues. I had forgotten my password to the camera(I won't make that mistake again) and discovered there is no factory reset button on the camera. I e-mailed JIDE Tech and they responded very quickly and sent me instructions on how to clear the password. Unfortunately the app required would not get through my e-mail firewall. No problem I dent them the Verificcation code(required to generate a validation code) and they e-mailed me straight back with the validation code which I entered and it worked straight away. You an't ask for quicker better service than that,

The camera image itself is fine, however the zoom is pointless as it does not zoom in nearly enough to justify having it in the first place, it is only 1080p which is a shame, and the speed of the movement is very slow (dont expect to follow anything with ease). It says it is onvif compatible but its old onvif so it wont work, and indeed does not work with any of the main line software systems on the market, having tested it with 10 of the biggest camera brands on the market, only 1 worked. Would I buy again, no probably not, I have 3 of them and for an extra £50 you can get one that has a much better zoom function, amazing night time lighting, and has slightly better movement.

The camera look and feel is great, solid build and it appears professional. However, 2 hours later, I am still trying to configure it to connect to my NVR. Convoluted setup, multiple plug-ins that are out of date. not compatible with Chrome, I had to install IE Tab within Chrome and still cannot connect to the camera. I work in IT and I find this installation convoluted. I hope others manage OK.

This Gentlen/JideTech camera was a brilliant choice for improving the security of my home, set-up and installation was a breeze and I’m very impressed with the features and overall quality. It needs only one cable connection to power and operate if you use PoE. This makes installation simpler and less expensive, which also helps scaling up networks when adding new devices. The ‘motion detection’ feature works incredibly well and you can set up email alerts to notify you when the camera detects any irregular activity.
